Make sure that 1) you have the JHMCS equipped and not the NVG. You can only take either or. 2) You have not pressed and held DMS down. This toggles the JHMCS on/off.

Normally there is no pilot head, as it would obstruct the normal view. However, there are two ways to get it. The first one is to simply move the outside camera in the cockpit. The second one is by maybe tricking the view outside of the view limits, you may get it to load the external pilot model into the cockpit model, or something like that. I don't know how to do that, though there was a topic around on how to do that with the F-16. You might be able to do the same for the F-5.

You are looking for a head in the cockpit view or external view?

DCS crashes when hard landing on Essex class carrier.
razo+r replied to Jexmatex's topic in Bugs and Problems
You should upload your crashlogs... -
No, that's not what that means.

Community A-4E-C v2.3 (May 2025)
razo+r replied to plusnine's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
That error is not going away by updating DCS. It's literally written what it is, a mod conflict with undefined behaviour and memory corruption. There is a report in the known issue list that mentions one of the possible behaviours. So you have 3 options. 1) ignore the warning and continue. 2) uninstall the A-4 3) uninstall the CH-53 and CH-47 mod -
MODELVIEWER 2.0 CAMERA MOVEMENT
razo+r replied to Panzuur's topic in DCS World Tutorial & Help Requests
Try using the mouse, should be much more controllable. Different modifiers (Shift, Ctrl) will allow you to move the model differently. -
Can you recall the conditions when they happened? Are you able to reproduce it in singleplayer?

You're pitching up too much and are uncoordinated. In a nutshell, you have to correct your aircraft more. Just before liftoff, you are pulling quite a bit back on the stick, increasing your AoA and pitching up steeply. You let go of the stick but still with a very high attitude. Push the nose down to reduce the AoA and to prevent a stall. Ideally, before takeoff you set your trim in such a way that there is not a big pitch motion at liftoff. And if there is, correct it as much as needed, even if you need to push the stick. Make sure you don't enter a stall in the first place. Be more active with the pedals. You can see the aircraft going to one side quite early, so you should correct it as early as possible. The earlier you catch it, the less correction is needed. Additionally, you have to keep using the pedals in the air. Keep the ball centered at all times, if possible. If you have such a high AoA like you and fly uncoordinated, that's a very quick way to get into a spin.

Making DCS Accessible for Blind Players – A Realistic Proposal
razo+r replied to Dataaja95's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Out of curiosity, and sorry for going off-topic but, how does one fly an aircraft if you cannot see? Would you get the software to read out one instrument after another all the time or how does that work when you fly? I mean having working vision is one of the basic requirements for flying an aircraft, so... This request leaves me with more questions than answers... -
You can already bind it. It's called wheel_brakes_plus. Does exactly that, increase the pressure on the brakes.

MIG-29 confirmed release date September?
razo+r replied to The Gryphon's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
It is not confirmed it is planned to release then. This tiny difference will save you from being disappointed when it's october. -
Is the to be attacked group within range of the ships? Have you tried it with normal advanced waypoint actions? Have you tried it with "attack point" instead?

You can see them on your kneeboard when flying, so it's not useless.

The controller diamond being off-center at cruise is normal behaviour if you don't adjust the aileron trim tabs in the special settings.

Flight Path marker in HUD veers extremely to the left when in NAV mode
razo+r replied to DST's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Feel free to upload a short track so we can see better what's going on. There are too many details missing from your short explanation. -
Do you have such a replay to upload or in general, more infos to provide?
