need track replay JF-17 CM802 AKG Missile Not rendering ground textures
razo+r replied to agustin172's topic in Weapon Bugs
Fly the mission in single player, showcase the problem and then quit the flight. In the debriefing window, you have a button at the bottom "save track" or similar. Save it somewhere where you can easily find it and upload that .trk file here. -
Full fidelity modules can have several buttons for Radio/intercom. The default # key is usually for the intercom, which doesn't transmit anything by radio but uses the intercom system, to which only ground crew can listen to. There is usually a dedicated radio button that you need to use to be able to actually transmit over the radio. Additionally, make sure the radio preset frequency matches the receiver which you want to contact.

Well, the solution to your problem either way is to fly at the minimum speed (100kph) required to launch multiple rockets.
-
Because ED hasn't modelled it for the Mi-8. The Mi-24 being much newer received this effect, just like the new Ka-50 update. One small rocket doesn't sound right though, you got a short track of it?
-
That's been the default behaviour since forever.

There is no light there, the space is occupied by antennas.

You set the QNH given by the briefing on ground so your altimeter reads the elevation above mean sea level. Above the transition altitude you set QNE/Standard to get flight level. There is no real altitude, only altitude in relation to your selected reference altitude. That's either flight level, level above ground (height), altitude above MSL, density altitude or other. Temperature affects your altimeter so it reads something different than height, that's normal. You don't compensate for that normally. That's one of the main reason for the devaition you see.
-
Yes, you set it there. Should be in the ingame briefing. Depends on the airport, but around 5000ft is a decent altitude to switch the altimeter.
-
You don't have to but it helps to prevent overheating or also helps so you don't forget to turn it off when you are cruising/RTB. Set avionic language in the gameplay or misc settings to english.
-
Altitude in the external view should be true altitude while the one in the cockpit is pressure one. Difference between these two is temperature effect. What's the temperature in the mission? Also, don't set QFE, almost nobody flies QFE anymore. You either set QNH or QNE/standard above the transition altitude.

The map should have nothing to do with it. Check for AI wingmen in your flight.

3) That purple haze is the exhaust flame effect that didn't got rescaled with the model and is now way too big. Tagging @NineLine @Flappie just to make sure it's seen. Also probably would have been better if you posted it in the WWII Assets pack subforum, but at least you posted it...

Check your loadout (ammo count) and switch settings.

Have you made sure the historical filter is turned off? It's the clock/watch icon at the bottom in the ME.- 1 reply

When you select the bomb to load onto your aircraft, click on the orange triangle to see what fuzes are available.
-
Not that I know of. It's either the avionic language or the unit setting in the gameplay settings, I don't remember. According to the manual, the unit setting should only affect the outside measurements, but maybe worth a shot to try too.. Some may also have specific metric or imperial cockpit liveries in the special settings. For some you can download such a livery.
-
It's not implemented in all aircraft.

M8 -Tpod/talk-on question
razo+r replied to Hillman's topic in DCS: F/A-18C Operation Mountain Breeze Campaign
One way would be using the scale that you have on the display, that way you can estimate your way to the target. Another way would be using Offset aimpoints, OAPs, where you can conveniently enter range, bearing, elevation or grid into the system in reference to a specific waypoint. -
Doesn't sound normal. Can you provide a short track showcasing this behaviour?

how to generate logitech x52 pro visual references
razo+r replied to Darthcypher's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Maybe if you feed the AI a template it will work, but then again how does the AI know where goes what? By the time you explained it you would be done filling it manually. Also, AI is still nowhere near AI and very much limited. I think you have a bit too high expectations for the current "AI". Either way, time is indeed precious, but you aren't going to redo a profile every week, so the 5-10 minutes used to create a quality visual reference is neglible compared to the average 665760 hours a human person gets. Or perhaps you should re-prioritize some things in life, like a beer less a week and the time saved there can be invested in creating a template, something like that if you are that short of time in your life. -

There are templates around that you can use and all you have to do is fill out the blanks. -
Yes, it's a mod. There are no native kamikaze drones in DCS as of now.

He will need to have the mod installed, else he cannot even join the server. -
Spawned Farp doesn't refuel/rearm
razo+r replied to Fabiano-VIKING's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Generally you should also place some of the required logistic units next to it for rearming and refueling. Also make sure you are calling the cround crew either with open canopy or with the correct intercom button.
