  1. Cool, one other thing the whole gun sight disappears on loading out weapons, sometimes it there other times not, but the the controls for it are always there is there something i'm missing??
  2. Question about the Export.lua what is it used for?, and does it use much of resources writing back to the two export logs.?

  6. Will have to check that again, but fairly sure the few attempts where I've tried and had "Abort" called, the 9 line was egress East and I was ingress from the West

Tried last night in the F-5 with an AI OH-58 as FAC orbiting the AO, lasing worked (to a point) both dropping bombs 2 - 3 km out from target @ 9,000 - 12,000, wing level also tried a slight dive to sight the AO, the only issue with AI Wags is that he'll calls abort, abort, abort if you go past Lasers on in the radio list, up to then all is good he'll read 9 line and acknowledges read back, I call IP Inbound and "Laser On" , AI confirms laser on, I release and bombs track to target, if I call "Spot" or "IN" after "laser on" AI Wags gives "Continue / Cleared Hot" then "Abort, Abort, Abort" & "No Targets you can leave"
  8. iirc, (from memory from 100 years ago so may have changed, so don't shot me if it's wrong :D ) Life = is time in seconds fire = is height & density so above would be 40 seconds duration 150 meters high and 2 (whatever that is in thickness) maxSlope = is either the max degree it can tilt with the wind direction, or the max slope the terrain can be at to have smoke appear? Ohhh!!! shots fired, joking joking :D all mods are good in my book the more the merrier :D the F-117 isn't really fully retired afaik though they're kept at Tonopah in flight ready status, so still fairly classified, and would say some of the tech & systems would still be in use in the B-1, B-2, F-22 & F-35 Cuban can't wait to see how this progresses, love the current sfm version so anything extra you can add is just icing and a cherry on the cake, good luck with it :thumbup:
  10. does not look OBS related it looks more like your shader files are out of date, need to delete them after each update also make sure your Nvidia drivers are up to date, do a clean up & repair of dcs delete the metashader & fxo folders in your saved games folder then run DCS without any other programs running / mods, and launch a quick mission to help build new shader files this should cure your issue

  12. yeah since last update editing any main game files especially in the scripts & database folders stops the sim loading at all but you could try constructing the folder in saved games folder the .png image instead of here:-- drive:\DCS World OpenBeta\MissionEditor\data\images\Countries\USA\Troops would go here:--drive:\users\username\aved games\DCS World OpenBeta\MissionEditor\data\images\Countries\USA\Troops and your edited scripts that were here:-- here:\DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\Database\Troops\USA.lua instead would go here:-- drive:\users\username\saved games\DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\Database\Troops\USA.lua but not sure if that works for those file types not something I've done in the past

No unfortunately, from what I tell the spawn points are hard coded on the model to only the 4 cat positions both BushRunwaysAndRoutes.lua & nimitzRunwaysAndRoutes.lua (for the carl vinson) show the ships as having 13 parking slots each you can activate them by changing the following in the bush.lua line 39 - GT.numParking = 4; change the 4 to 13, and you can chose 1 to 13 Parking slots in the ME, however if you chose Parking 5 to 8 you'll spawn in at cat 1 and the aircraft then instantly rotate ~120 degrees starboard facing aft, parking 9 to 13 will crash out DCS to desktop on the mission load screen any change to either of the corresponding nimitz lua's will prevent DCS from loading at all also tried changing the co-ordinates for parking 1 in the BushRunwaysAndRoutes.lua and get the same spawn & spin at cat 1 result
  14. it's like they found a crash site of two F-5's and the remains were put back together to make one plane, they had 2 tails in the pile and one fuselage and didn't know what to do so super glued one on each side :D
  15. @MoGas unzip and add attached texture file to here: Drive:\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\TempTextures it should pass IC, and doesn't get replaced by updates as far as I've noticed, if you run a cleanup the updater gives you the option to keep or move to the file to backup folder, in case you need to clean out your install folders
  16. try running cleanup and then repair, if that fails, delete the authdata.bin file in D:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config then re-run DCS it'll create a new authdata.bin just after you enter your password, that should fix it.

Emm.. or just attach a pic on the forum using "Go Advanced" button then click paperclip, chose the pic you want to upload, upload it right click the uploaded filename, chose copy link address click the "insert image" button and paste your image link and submit your post (then go back and edit your post and remove the attachments so you don't have a small image and large image if you want)

Make sure Autologin is also checked in the MISC. section of the options screen then exit and doublecheck your options.lua has saved it Check it in notepad++ in Drive:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\options.lua under the sections in "miscellaneous" (roughly lines 79 to 94) there should be a line ["autologin"] = true, it should be true,

  21. I do similar but with the toe brakes on the crosswinds and set x or y to have a button press as well as an axis to activate the over-ride, so as I brace for G's I can depress the pedal to activate the stick over-ride :D

  25. the Community A4 mod has it's own radar and no SDK, would be a lot of work though to create, but not un-achievable
