No the 101 had it in a later 1.5 update too.

I thought ED acknowledged we all hated this and were going to remove it.

Does anyone remember from one of the early streams Wags showing us a feature in the mission editor that will allow you to toggle whether a ground vehicle (such as a tank) will engage aircraft? I was really looking forward to this feature. Unfortunately there's no recording of whichever stream it was but I'm positive it was said.

Pretty sure it's the new ground textures are making it harder to see targets.

From the rear fire at .7nm or less and break off as quick as you can, if there's multiple tanks I usually take hits from ridiculously accurate gunners. Wags said in one of his 2.0 preview streams a while ago that there was going to be an option in the mission editor to toggle if vehicles will engage aircraft, doesn't look like that feature made it in (yet?) :(

Yup this is a known problem. Once I was in the A-10C about 100ft off the deck in a 90º bank trying to sneak up on a SAM when someone spawned in a 21, into the dirt I went :doh:

I can attest to EVGA's prompt customer service as I'm sending my 970 out today for them to replace because of a quite annoying fan issue :D:( Otherwise my luck with EVGA has been good. I'd still be using BFG cards if they were still in business however.

Use a normal 500lb bomb, GBU-38/12/MK-82, pick your poison. The AI wingmen are good for tasks like this as well.

Set the depressible pipper to (-?)41 and that will give an indication where the TGP is pointing when boresighted in A/A mode.

This ^ I still don't know why most modules do not have compatible TM WH control bindings as they come, with how many people use this HOTAS.

I was never able to get a missile off the rail while I had a lock tone, I was able to launch without tone while pointed at the bandit, the first missile tracked but missed as he turned, the second missile found it's mark.

Personally, I loathe surround, it ruins everything else outside of gaming, makes using multiple browser windows a pain, the start menu will not stay where you put it, you can't fullscreen a video on one monitor, ect. The great thing about DCS is you don't need surround to run multiple monitors. Make sure you left monitor is the main one, then in DCS just type in your resolution in the box and hit enter. I'm also not a fan of the ultrawide main menu in 1.5 when using 3 monitors. In the monitor config LUA you used to be able to make the GUI stuff appear where you wanted it to, now if I try to contain it within the middle screen it completely distorts the main menu,

He said it has something to do with the code, which to me sounds like it's something buried pretty deep and would require a lot of work to change.

I know the A-10c pretty much as much as you can. I'm quite proficient with the Mustang and Kurfust, I still find takeoffs and landings in the Dora difficult. Basically I can ramp start, takeoff and land in everything, but don't have in-depth systems knowledge except for those listed above.

I'm making my own on equipment at work but I have discussed this with the company owners as a possible supplemental business. The problem is getting the process down fast enough to be cost effective. My current methods are slow. My panels aren't exactly prototypical either, so that raises the question if people would buy them or not. I did just order some laserable engraving plastic since I'm tired of rotary engraving/doing the color fill and I don't feel like painting acrylic for laser use.

With vsync enabled my rig will regularly lock itself at 30FPS for no reason, it's clearly limiting it. With vsync disabled it doesn't happen.

Balls, knew there had to be something cheaper, just hard to search by specs on eBay. I'd like the lit ones but just using this as a normal HID instead of through DCS bios gives me flexibility with other modules (I think it will work for selecting modes on FC3 type aircraft).

Well here's a crappy pic of my NMSP.

I use the Gs almost exclusively now, the warhead will take out several light/non-armored vehicles in reasonably close proximity. If I'm put up against SAMs in my lone A-10, I don't feel bad about using force correlate to take one at out 14nm.

I too have noticed the helios lag but hadn't looked into it yet.
