  7. Stop being Sinistrophobic. I'm literally shaking right now.
  8. Nice to see so many fulfilling their virtue signalling requirements for the day. This thread is just another one to add to the long list created by the same dude in order to bait people into identity politics. It's sad that so many people have taken the bait... That being said let me address why this is a BS discussion from the get go. Women make up 5.9% of the pilots of the USAF. Now you might say this figure constitutes some sort of representation. Okay let's take that and work with it. Should that be your argument I want to see the following representation addressed; Roughly 15% of the USAF is black - why is there not more black pilots? Is DCS racist? There is a substantial minority of Afro-Russians in the Russian Army - why is there not more of them in DCS? Is DCS again racist? About 10-15% of the USAF is left handed - why is there not more left handed pilots? Is DCS biased? Roughly 5% of the USAF are homosexuals - why are there no homosexuals in DCS? Is DCS homophobic? A minority of USAF pilots wear glasses - why are they not more pilots with glasses in DCS? Is DCS biased against this too? About 0.056% of USAF pilots have mental health conditions - Why are these not represented in DCS? Is DCS part of the stigma towards mental health? The answer to all of these is no. DCS is designed to represent weapons of war, not the demographics of society. If you're looking for a game that prioritizes your identity politics over everything else then go play something else.
  9. Absolutely remove if the real aircraft counterpart doesn't have the capability. If it's kept for balance reasons we'll have begun a journey towards the death of what DCS prides itself on - accuracy.
  10. Then you're not looking hard enough!
  11. I'd be interested to know your source for this information. It is not mentioned in any of the declassified manuals. AFAIK there is no audible warning / tone to notify of AP disengagement.
  12. Cheers! Yep, this passes IC. Been using it for a couple months with no problems whatsoever. Cheers! It plays sounds, they're audible but it doesn't play the entire sound file. So if I put in a launch warning sound file that was 5 seconds long, it would only play and keep repeating the first 0.25 seconds of the sound.
  13. Many thanks! The Harrier suffers the same issue as the Mirage RWR - it only plays about 0.25s of the RWR sound file. As such it makes something like the RAE mod a waste of time. Having said that I did try to force the RAE mod in with a bit of botched code but the game ignores it. I will keep trying periodically though just in case it suddenly decides to work.
  14. Has been activated on Userfiles - https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3216792/
  15. The Spirale entered service with the French Air Force in 1987.
  16. I've made a mod which has the real warning tones in it according to the A1-AV8BB-NFM-000 flight manual. I've just upped it to userfiles but it's awaiting approval. In the meantime I'll attach it to this post. Harrier Betty Mod V1.0.zip
  17. ICMS is the name of the EW suite. There are various version numbers in service. With the ICMS upgrade installed the DDM is as you put it 'plug and play'. The ICMS upgrade package included the Spirale dispenser - the chaff and flare pod on the aircraft where the wings meet the body. Any aircraft that has the Spirale dispenser is equipped / was equipped / is ready to be equipped with the DDM. Any Mirage without the Spirale (most French AF Mirages were upgraded) dispenser has not had the ICMS upgrade and as such cannot use the DDM. As for real life fielding it only makes sense that they would mostly be operational on D and N variants. These are the ground attack variants that would most endangered by MANPADS and that's what the system is designed to protect against (60d elevation, 180d in azimuth). The M-2000C in game has the Spirale dispenser thus it has had the ICMS upgrade and is DDM compatible.
  18. The capability is for the entire M-2000 family. It plugs into and aids the EW suite of the aircraft. I believe the system is called 'ICMS', it includes the following; - High-band radar jammer - Spirale chaff/flare dispenser - SAT DDM IR missile detector I'm fairly certain it was fielded on the C in Bosnia, there are a couple magazine / newspaper articles floating around confirming so.
  19. Lads, this is not an error you can fix. The CCIP bombing on the AV-8B is programmed incorrectly. The dashed cross IRL signifies that the piper is not the ACTUAL impact point. The CCIP piper / cross cannot leave the HUD FOV in the AV-8B IRL so when the impact point is off the screen it displays a dashed cross to denote it. The dashed cross for 'inaccurate release' or whatever it's supposed to be is bollocks. It is not a function that exists. Also IRL the DMT must be slewed to the area you're going to bomb say approx within 50ft or so of the target, you can't just select bombs and start bombing. You must give the computer something to range from. I don't believe this has been programmed in yet tho. Please see my post here where I cover the CCIP errors in detail - https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=201489
  20. I don't mean to knock you or your question but I wish people would make an attempt to find / post documentation related to their preferred aircraft. RAZBAM (or any 3rd party) can only make aircraft they have detailed information on. If one provides a portion of the necessary documentation it makes the aircraft request all the more appealing. With that being said the Cheetah is a really appealing aircraft, as such I'm gonna go on the hunt for some of the documentation myself!
  21. Awesome work!
  22. Here's all the documentation I have on it; https://mega.nz/#F!rZsHyRZI!NlV7qXgFpwKf068BZYQ_Yg
