  1. I've noticed that the ASL is actually adjusting heading as one banks the aircraft. It's visible in this video - That certainly shouldn't be occurring. And as Chicken mentioned the manuals are not explicit about the ASL passing through the TD. We need some more HUD footage of AUTO bombings in Harrier II's to really understand what's going on, TACMAN's are getting us nowhere.
  2. Urm, some of us are using those particular bits for our RAF and RN pilots!
  3. That's not the RAZBAM version, he explained that it was from a private mod.
  4. Texture issue maybe? That is an interesting one.
  5. I didn't own the F/A-18C nor the Su-33 at the time so I never tested. Now that I own the F/A-18C I might give it a test with Joey's Hermes mod.
  6. I have gone to great lengths to recreate the takeoff conditions, the result is the same. Ramp incline is irrelevant, it's the beginning of the slope which causes the nose gear to fail. I think it's an ED / RAZBAM issue, not something a mod can solve. Believe me, I've tried...
  7. Take off a bit closer to the ramp. I've noticed this myself but I'm not sure much can be done about it. The collision model for the ramp is extremely smooth as it is, making it smoother would require some quantum engineering!
  8. The GR.7/9 could certainly carry it which means the AV-8B almost certainly could. However, it's not a weapon used by the US Marines or by the USA in general. Therefore I very much doubt we'll see it on the AV-8B in game and rightly so.
  9. This is exactly what happened to me last night on Blueflag except I wasn't so lucky. Having come across this thread I must say it's very disappointing to see ED turn a blind eye to this issue. Almost 7 months without comment is appalling.
  10. I tried to do it forcing the light arg in a livery. Didn't work. For anyone searching it's arg#150 for the Stennis deck lights. 0 = lights off 1 = lights on
  11. Get your AoA right and the speed will be perfect by result. If you're below glideslope - add power. If you're above - reduce power. Small adjustments go a long way. I pinched this from the IRL Hornet manual. Gives a good idea of the speed your AoA should put you at. You'll notice speed increases with weight, that's why you fly AoA and not a speed of 137. At 39,000lb, a speed of 137 knots is not gonna end well!
  12. +1
  13. I've noticed this myself, rather annoying.
  14. It's done via the UFC;
  15. The British never really used the ADEN gunpods. They were deemed to expensive and the contract was cancelled IIRC. But ironically the UK MoD was too cheap to acquire enough LIDS strakes thus you often see GR.7 & GR.9's with gunpods fitted - but the gunpods are empty! Also I'm not so sure about the ballistics being the identical between weapons!
  16. Post your track file, found here - C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Tracks\Multiplayer
  17. bump for bug tracker.
  18. Looking forward to it.
  19. You make me sick.
  20. Same issue here.
  21. That's pretty consistent with the data I've found as well. The laser range depends a lot on conditions and time of day but that figure is pretty good average.
  22. It seems to be a recurring theme on this subforum...
  23. I voted yes but I doubt we'll ever see functional nukes in DCS. Finally Trev, I mean this in the nicest way possible - **** off.
  24. That's the RAE mod, it only applies to the A-10C.
  25. It's absolutely a bug in the FM. You'd have a hard time getting any aircraft to depart as violent as that.
