  1. Do you have birdstrikes enabled? :D
  2. No, it's not possible to install Caucasus to DCS 2. Devs are working on the "big merge", to combine DCS 1.5 (Caucasus only) and 2.0 (NTTR, and later Normandy) into a single version, 2.5. No ETA yet.
  3. Yeah, maybe you're right. :D
  4. MiG-21, just as any complex piece of software, has some issues. The navigation system could be better, weapons selector is inaccurately implemented, gunsight needs some improvement too etc. I don't have a clue how a MiG-21 is supposed to behave in flight, so I won't comment the flight model. But I would dare to say that none of these issues, no matter how annoying some of them may be, are not even close to be game braking, and don't make MiG-21 a bad module. On the contrary, it is a great module. Recently, after the LNS split, Dolphin said they are intensifying the work on the module. Indeed, there seem to be more activity in their bug tracker during last month then in the entire 2016 :). So let's wait what will the future patches bring. I know I'll continue to enjoy the MiG just as the day I bought it almost two years ago, and will continue to recommend it to anybody who asks.
  5. If I'm not mistaken, Pal+G position of the ERA 7000 ("Main") radio works exactly the same as "T/R+G" or "BOTH" on some other western radios found in DCS, i.e. enables simultaneous monitoring of selected frequency/channel and guard frequency (243MHz, 121.5MHz). Could you please add this feature?
  6. Yes, mostly. I think the throttle is mapped to +/-, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I don't use the numpad, my views are handled by trackir, and zoom is mapped to the hotas.
  7. Now, that sounds interesting. :)
  8. Are you proposing to delay a release until the LANTIRN is added? How much would it take? Several months? A year? I'm sure that would be a very popular decision. :D
  9. With the Spit I'm using 40 curves for pitch, 25 for roll, no dead zones, TM T16000M. It does help, but not pulling the stick all the way back helps even more. :)
  10. We don't really know how widespread the issue actually is. Those unaffected appreciated the bundle, those with the issue probably not as much. At the end of the day, the issue will be fixed, and the purchase made on sale will still be there...
  11. You can help the devs squash this bug by submitting your logs here. That's what alpha/early access is all about - testing a software and contributing to its development by giving feedback and reporting issues :D
  12. Those issues are not affecting everyone, 2.0.5 runs perfectly on my machine. Perhaps no one in ED, including testers, had no issues either...
  13. LOL Welcome to the club. :D No need for a mod, it comes with the English cockpit (mostly, some text remains in Cyrillic).
  14. Small update, added MiG-29, Su-33 and F-5E. Also an additional emitter for SA-3, detectable with the U22/A pod (written in italic)
  15. Great, thank you!
  16. Glad it was helpful. :D
  17. I got the same result with AMRAAM.
  18. R.I.P. :(
  19. The download should resume from where it left off. But the Nevada will take a long time to download at that speed, it's 20+GB IIRC. Regarding the Hawk, do you remember the mail you used to login? You can reset the password or contact the VEAO guys. Perhaps you can find the key in your email inbox. I just looked at mine (gmail), and there it is, after more than a year.
  20. Have you tried downloading them? I bet it will copy the files from the existing 1.5 install. Login to the VEAO page, you'll find you key there. It's also in the confirmation mail, if you still have it.
  21. Altitude at which the water boiling point equals human body temperature is 18,000m, and it's called Armstrong's line. The blood in the blood vessels wouldn't boil because it's still under pressure, but exposed liquids (eyes, mouth, nose, lungs) would. A person would lose conciseness 10s after decompression, and would die a minute or two after. A standard oxygen mask would not prevent this, only a pressure suit would. I don't think this is modeled in DCS.
  22. You can place the windsocks in the mission editor. And remember the briefing shows the direction the wind is blowing to, not from.
  23. LO/LA input fix didn't make it into the patch. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3083872&postcount=80
  24. The old map was missing Channel Islands. :D
