  1. One of the devs said it costs about 100,000 GBP to develop a DCS module. Add to that several years of hard work, usually alongside with a day job, and it's clear that it takes a lot of passion and determination to succeed.
  2. Indeed, you're right!
  3. Same here. Trying to set a waypoint to the small airstrip SE of Tonopah (116 37'32" W, 37 40'59" N), I entered 163732 374059. But the computer changed the longitude to 152227, which is 110km E of my desired destination.
  4. As I understand it, New post shows unread posts in chronological order. If someone posts after you, the thread should pop up in the list, but can also get buried among other new posts.
  5. It would be very convenient, yes. I like the idea.
  6. Leatherneck split into two companies, Magnitude 3, which are the guys who did the MiG-21, minus Cobra, and Heatblur, which is the team behind the Viggen and Tomcat. Magnitude 3 will continue to develop the MiG-21 and Corsair.
  7. Training in Nevada, full campaign in Caucasus. NTTR could be bundled with the Harrier on release, to make the map more accessible for people who don't have it yet.
  8. Keep up the good work guys . I hope that now, being a smaller team, you'll be more present on the forum and will have better communication with the community. Dolphin, you are in the unique position, as the only dev (if I'm not mistaken) that has actually flown the aircraft you've developed, and you should take advantage of that. Želim vam puno uspjeha i sreće! :)
  9. That's exactly how I felt when getting back into Huey after learning to fly the Gazelle. :D Learning a new plane takes time and practice, it's not something you can do in one evening. :)
  10. Cheers! Hope so too. :D @BravoYankee4 Thanks for the info!
  11. That came out of the blue! Hope you split on friendly terms... I wish you guys all the best! MiG-21 will always be a special for me since it was my first fully clickable plane, and the one that really sucked me in to the DCS world. Looking forward to your new projects, from both teams.

  13. No need for ground unit, but the airfield has to be in the same coalition, which can be set in mission editor.
  14. Great job, thank you!
  15. I'm pretty sure it's correct, but I'll doublecheck. Basically, all these planes have identical emitters, it's just a way I sorted them (or how I did not sort them - I just put them there as they appeared :D). I'll sort them by the frequency, while keeping the search radar on top. In this case it's the 1000Hz one.
  16. Don't fly too fast. :D The engine flames out roughly above 1300km/h IAS or Mach 2.
  17. For people using prism lenses (fresnel or not), and those with high astigmatism, adjustable focus would not be of much help, that's true. But everyone else with simple myopia or hyperopia, with little or no astigmatism would very much benefit from it, just like in binoculars and cameras. Since VR has a single focal point, there's no need for multifocal lenses.
  18. Same here. The frame rate counter may show 80+, but it feels much better with 60fps v-sync on. LAlt+enter is the first thing I do when I start DCS.
  19. If you have them installed in 1.5, I thing it's normal. The keys are stored in the registry and activated for all DCS versions.
  20. That's how the videos recorded with nvidia shadowplay are labeled by default.
  21. Did you bind the key to your DCS account?
  22. Good to know, hope you'll fix it soon. It seems that the problem is not specific to Viggen, people are reporting weird issues with other modules too, maybe related.
  23. I wonder if the starforce is causing this issue. Somewhat similar bug was plaguing the Hawk some time ago, and it turned out it was starforce's fault. And there was an announcement a few days ago on the forum that the starforce is updating or something like that.
  24. Hopefully the next VR generation devices will come with the adjustable focus lens. I'm surprised that this isn't already implemented, since not everyone have 20/20 vision.
