  1. That's how the videos recorded with nvidia shadowplay are labeled by default.
  2. Did you bind the key to your DCS account?
  3. Good to know, hope you'll fix it soon. It seems that the problem is not specific to Viggen, people are reporting weird issues with other modules too, maybe related.
  4. I wonder if the starforce is causing this issue. Somewhat similar bug was plaguing the Hawk some time ago, and it turned out it was starforce's fault. And there was an announcement a few days ago on the forum that the starforce is updating or something like that.
  5. Hopefully the next VR generation devices will come with the adjustable focus lens. I'm surprised that this isn't already implemented, since not everyone have 20/20 vision.
  6. That really sucks. Looking at the picture, it seems that the packaging was damaged during transport, and then taped back together, to some extent. Whatever happened, hope the adapter is ok...
  7. See here. I wouldn't really call it a tutorial, especially not a good one, but may be enough to get you started. :) As for the frequency knobs, each has two parts, lower (wider), and upper (thinner). The lower left controls the first two digits, the upper one controls the last digit in front of the decimal. The lower right controls 1st digit after the decimal, while the upper right controls the last two digits (00-25-50-75). Like firmek said, use the scrollwheel, don't drag. Yes, both.
  8. I just took the Viggen for a spin, cold start from Tonopah and landing, didn't have any of the problems you've described. Air start was fine too.
  9. DCS 2.0.5.2576 Update 1 Changelog
  10. The MiG-21 sound you heard is actually a lock sound, or rather two sounds, 3400Hz and 5400Hz, 0.2 second on, 0.5 second off. Its search radar sounds exactly as the one of M2000C, 1000Hz, 0.5s on, 1.2s off.
  11. Great show, enjoyed watching it! Too bad Hook couldn't make it (I almost missed it because of work), but Manawar and IronMike did a great job with the commentary!
  12. Thanks Prowler111! I've been enjoying M2000C since its release, looking forward to the upcoming modules, which are now on my shopping list. :D
  13. Good question, I'd also like to know the answer. :D My initial guess was just as il_corleone said, search, lock and launch (or rather, radar missile guidance). But all three emitters are recorded even with no radar guided missiles, IR only, so I'm not so sure if that's the case. I am pretty sure that the Emitter 1 is the search mode.
  14. RSBN/PRMG (similar to TACAN/ILS) and ADF. Impossible to get lost in Caucasus :D, a bit easier in Nevada, due to lack of beacons (no RSBN stations, only a few NDBs). It's a great module, great fun to fly, I like it much more than I thought I would.
  15. Defender of the Fatherland Sale Today we have an early weekend news update given the Russian Defender of the Fatherland holiday this weekend. To commemorate the event, we are offering a 50% off sale on all Russian aircraft from 23 February at 1500 GMT and lasting until 26 February at 0900 GMT. These modules include: Su-27 for DCS World Su-25 for DCS World DCS: L-39 Albatros DCS: MiG-15bis DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight DCS: Black Shark 2 DCS: MiG-21bis DCS: Spitfire IX Think I'll grab the Spit :music_whistling:. Happy Defender of the Fatherland Day! :D
  16. Mine does that too sometimes, I have to manually "re-center" it and than it stops. Bigger deadzone may help.
  17. My standard modifier, the left most button on throttle handle, button 4 IIRC.
  18. I use CH throttle mini stick for radar and RB-05 (with modifier), with 15 curves and 5 deadzone. Works pretty good.
  19. Same here. I've noticed it a while ago but dismissed it as a temporarily glitch (I rarely use the Edge). I tried now on two PCs, same behavior. No problem with Firefox.
  20. Some cassette player had a "skip silence" function, so if there was a gap between two songs, it could skip to the next one. It's been more than 20 years since I used the cassette player, but I remember the last one I owned had that function. :D
  21. RWR records the data, but the pod can record more emitters. All the data I've gathered so far was using the RWR only. I will add the data from the ECM pod, once the life gets less busy :D.
  22. Thanks, nice to have the kneeboard version! Very useful!
  23. I used the default settings, and most of the time it worked. However I did encounter some songs that wouldn't play. Couldn't figure why. One thing I've noticed, but it might just be a coincidence, the songs that would not play in Viggen, when played in the web browser (Firefox) are showing the cover art. The songs that work in Viggen are not showing it.
  24. There were 53 last year. :P
  25. Thanks. :)
