  1. It seems like the aircraft is required to be started (CK37 to turn on) for the ground crew to be usable through the kneeboard. The vehicles you have should be working, just tested it with the M939, M978 and a "LUV HMMWV" and they work fine. If you place an invisible FARP you'll have access to weapons and fuel before starting up the aircraft. And I'll add this as a bug; Not being able to access the ground crew before CK37 running.

    Radar functions

I'm pretty sure the Viggen's radar overperform a lot when it comes to mapping the ground, and ground vehicles. To me the video released yesterday of the F1's ground radar in DCS looks closer to what is seen in real videos of the Viggen's radar. There are two more bits showing the radar later in the video, other than the first one that is time stamped. (First part is showing the island of Gotland from the north, and part of northern Öland, flying south. The later two parts is of the Gdańsk Bay from two slightly different views from the north(east).)
  3. Any specifics you know need updating? I'd say generally speaking the DCS manual is more accurate than the module itself, which is interesting. Large parts of what I've read (granted it's not very much) is just translated straight from the SWAF ones.
  4. Ah right, it most like works fine then. There are a few other maps with the same issue and they work without any issues (NTTR, Marianas ...).
  5. Does it not work on the SA map?
  6. Yep, the so called "night filter". Looks like that's what it is as I can get the same appearance on my screen by changing it.
  7. Range and azimuth lines are very slightly thicker, but the cursor should be the same as before. The black color has a thickening effect on them. As for the horizon and all that. I think someone's been fiddling with the (filter) knob again... On a serious note, those are not changed at all IIRC, so should be the same as the usual ones. I see no yellowing on my end unless I change the filter position. I tried to correct the color change rate so the lines and display area change color at the same rate but was unable to do so. I blame it on it being the first time doing anything with shaders.
  8. This is my mod that makes the EP08 (HUD and CI) more accurate. As far as I know I've only changed the visuals, if you notice something wrong please tell me and I'll try to fix it. If you have any other mods installed, install this one last to make sure it works correctly. Does NOT pass texture, and script IC Changes are: HUD New more accurate font Made numbers larger by 133%; They are now 0.5° tall Change color of symbology - It's green Centered heading tape numbers on the actual headings Less glare/glow Decreased opacity slightly Made the 5° lines correct length around the center (too long out to the sides though...) Shortened the horizon lines to correct length CI Changed screen color - It's green Changed color on the circle to a more green one Made distance and angle lines black Made the video marker (the cross) black Changed color on the bottom for more accuracy Reduced the glare/glow effect on the background Can now get propper black returns Added some burn-in effects on the sides There are a few more things I'd like to do, but they do not seem to be possible without breaking 10 other things so I left those out. Enjoy! MYSE1234 More realistic EP08.zip More realistic EP08 - VR v2.zip
  9. The cartridge files in the "DCS_AJS37" folder can also in rare cases cause crashes, and can be fixed by deleting/moving them. If that is the problem..
  10. If it's not possible to move it, there should be a lever just below the gear handle that disconnects a lock on it. That is however not modelled, both visually and functionally. So for the moment in DCS, all you can hope for is that it does not come to having to use it.
  11. lol, you don't keep track of the forum very well then if this one image is being nuked. But yeah, I do not have an official download or whatever for it, but some other manuals has been through the news a few years ago (as I'm sure you are aware) due to a very small portion of another manual for a Viggen being declassified accidentally. No comment about the manuals themselves other than that very specific part of one of them.
  12. The full manual has been declassified, if you look at the top of each page you'll see the text "HEMLIG" crossed out together with the date it was declassified. It's also from 1975, so well before 1980.
  13. The SWAF manual for AJ37 also lists it as around 9m for the RB24 (AIM-9B) (The image was removed but it's on page 76.)
  14. Just seen that you listed group 3, and possibly 4 slightly, incorrectly. Group 3 should be: "KB-RA-XT-RA-RA" Group 4 might be: "SB-SB-XT-24-SB" So the results you got is in fact with the aircraft even draggier/heavier than the aircraft would be in the charts from the manual. Regarding group 4 it's both listed as "16x SB + XT", as well as "SB-SB-XT-24-SB" depending on where you look. I personally think the latter is what is used, but that is of course just a guess and not 100% certain.
  15. Fuel usage is already reported being inaccurate internally. You finished the acceleration stuff before I did (only got one chart done so far). Now I won't have to do that, so thanks for that; Saved me quite a few hours of work there (as I'm sure you are aware )
  16. It does.
  17. Do you have a track of it happening? I'm unable to replicate this behaviour on my end.
  18. I think you flew a bit too far below the radar there. Whooshed right past them, until it was too late for 'em.
  19. Alright I've updated the CombatFlite ELINT library for the latest version. I've seen some confusion/questions on the ELINT so decided so update it. It will of course only be as accurate as it can be for this new version of the mod, while the version supplied with the module will be less so. It's available for download in the OP. @LazyBoot
  20. I also noticed that it seems to see in front of the aircraft a bit. The radar altimeter I'd imagine only measures directly below, but it doesn't explicitly say how it functions anywhere as far as I'm aware.
  21. No, it definitely has some that have been changed since it was made. I didn't see much of a point updating it as the ELINT data is so poor. If it's actually used I'll update it
  22. New update (v4.3) that you probably want to install. This new version corrects the RWR antenna FOV to 60deg, i.e. a doubling from what it is by default.
  23. Version 4.3 Corrected FOV of the RWR antennas to 60°, instead of the 30° it has been
  24. Radar altimeter does indeed seem to have to be on to get the ground collision warning (Metspövarning), while in reality it should not be required. Either A1 or A2 has to be used which is the correct behaviour, A0 does not enable this warning. God knows why, as it doesn't use the radar in anyway for the calculations. All it's doing is: HM+7*H < 0 HM - the altitude, either from the altimeter or radar 7 - the seven seconds until collision H - the descent rate in m/s. This is negative Being required to have the radar altimeter on is a bug. Other than that it's working as expected from what I can see @Machalot
  25. v2.84 Changed FLI37 “wing” appearance slightly Corrected placement on 60° and 90° markers on FLI37 Added emissiveness to α15,5 button Removed mipmap for annunciator panels - better text visibility Lowered the resolution on annunciator panel texture back to default - no real visual difference Changed green color on annunciator panels Added text on weapon jettison and X-tank jettison covers X-tank jettison cover is duplicated onto the RENSA cover, but it’s not very visible. Unfortunately can not change this Seems to not be possible to get the right shade of red for some reason. Maybe in the future.. Download links are updated on the OP.
