fixed Jittery aircraft and munitions when at speed
Volator replied to Nascar's topic in General Bugs
The jittering appears in CA in single-thread, non-VR multiplayer as well. I experienced it yesterday on a very crowded server (therefore no track, it's huge and would probably be of little use) while driving a Humvee. Funny thing is, in isometric view everything was ok, but in driver or gunner position the jittering was so bad I could hardly control the vehicle or aim at things. -
And you might need to tune up the brightness to max, the pipper is in fact rather hard to see in some lighting conditions even with maximum brightness. @FlyingCoffin

Pretty much this. The M2K is a very good module in its current state and very enjoyable.

DCS, Maverick boresight, and the F-16 (?)
Volator replied to av8orDave's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Those will get it eventually I assume. -
Das bezieht sich aber auf die "andere" Corsair (die A-7), nicht auf die F-4U

Just a quick question for Ripple Maverick fire
Volator replied to Eisprinzessin's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Yes, according to the manual it is. -
Just a quick question for Ripple Maverick fire
Volator replied to Eisprinzessin's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Maverick ripple fire mode only works with the LAU-117 rails, and those can only load one Mav per wing. The double or tripple racks are LAU-88s that do not support ripple fire mode. -
Es muss auf den Servern entsprechend aktiviert und eingerichtet sein, sonst funktioniert es nicht.

Same on Blue Flag servers, this can't be a "feature"...

The problem in DCS always was that it was too hard to spot aircraft at closer range, say within 2nm, while the dots were spotable unrealistically at 50nm (if you knew where to look for them, i.e. with radar lock). Looks like this problem still wasn't adressed properly, but the original unrealistic spotting at distance was even made worse.

Haven't you noticed the flood of bug reports coming in since the update?
-
After what happened to the Viper in the 2.9 update I might actually give the SE a look...
-
I hear you, but: Setting up websites takes quite some effort and time. I'd rather spend that time flying the sim.

Fantastic screenshots. When I first saw the pilot, I thought "what's a real-world picture doing in here?!" @ben_der Could we see some German F-4 skin screenshots pretty-please?

European veteran pilot looking for MILSIM squadorn
Volator replied to MeThePunisher's topic in General DCS Squadrons
Is your first language German by any chance? Then the 1./JG71 might suit your interest. -
Right now a good, integrated multiplayer mission planner and briefing screen.

That would be a fantastic upgrade to the UH-1! A crewmember to finally call out enemies spotted and take some basic flying tasks (that includes holding a set heading) is very much needed.

Back from work, checked the 476th FG pubs, there are approach charts for Batumi, Senakhi and Vaziani, so after Kutaisi it is indeed Kobuleti that would need a chart. Vaziani has TACAN approach charts for both RWYs and an ILS chart for RWY 31. Senakhi only has an ILS chart for 09. TACAN approaches for both RWYs at Senakhi, Kobuleti and Kutaisi would be fantastic too
-
I’’ll check my printed charts that the great guys of the 476th FG (?} offer on their download page, there are already some airports that have approach charts and SIDs, no need to do duplicates. Generally speaking it would be cool if at least all the dedicated military airfields had ILS and/or TACAN approach charts, so Senakhi, Vaziani, Kutaisi and Kobuleti. A suggestion for the missed approach procedure, it should probably say “climb runway heading”, shouldn’t it?
-
Wow, that’s very nice, thank you for your efforts! Do you plan to create more approach charts for Caucasus?
