  1. you should be able to place them as static object => ground vehicles, not as infantry. Remember to link unit as well to the ship. If you need it for logistics behavior, actually I suggest to go with a CTLD scripts.
  2. You still have lot of Out of memory errors. 12GB of RAM is definitely not enough to enter multiplayer server, especially the one with several AI units and high players count. It's also below the minimum system requirements. You can try to increase more the pagefile settings, but your performance will be definitely affected if you use your disk as RAM. If you want play multiplayer, I recommend to upgrade at least to 32GB of RAM your system.
  3. I'm not using this scripts, but it looks like there is another process that is using the port 14802, and the program can't start since it's unable to use it. Try to restart the system, should fix the problem.

  5. non ho capito esattamente la domanda, ma praticamente tutti i moduli (almeno i recenti degli ultimi 3/4 anni ) sono passati prima per la OpenBeta. È un passaggio dello sviluppo, passano prima in openbeta, ci stanno un mesetto o più a seconda della qualità della build, e poi finiscono in release.

  8. It looks like stuck just after some of your custom scripting. Try to load a really simple mission done by mission editor only without use any script, and see what happens. Just to understand if there is something wrong with your server or this build, or just an incompatibility between this version and the freamwork or script that you're currently using in your mission. So far my servers with Moose 2.7.18 are working fine, so I suspect you're using some custom script or some function that is not anymore well supported and you need to fix your scripts.
  9. ok, so just try to create a Config folder if doesn't exist, and place a new file: serverSettings.lua Take mine here attached as reference that is working for sure with this release, and make your changes. Than try again to start DCS. ( but yes, definitely it should be able to create an empty config file and don't stuck the server on clean install ) serverSettings.lua

  11. I can't see server up right now on server page, so I guess is not up at the moment. But, just to be sure, are you using the same version ( Stable or OpenBeta) on both server and client?
  12. not currently teste, but on my old similar setup where I had server and flying pc on the same LAN, enabling ipv6 for the lan did the trick. try to enable ipv6 on both client and server and see what happens. Not sure if it was the fact that with pv6 basically it's your LAN address it's a public address, but at the time, it help a lot
  13. Totally agree, Simple Radio is the best audio support for DCS so far. We use this one in our internal missions as well as the Joint Squadron Missions. While for random evening squadron flight, we still use TeamSpeak ( rather than discord ) since it's have better sound quality and less performance impact on systems.

I'm not sure it was this specific case, but there was an option that is not set within mission editor options, but it will be embedded in the .miz file the option of the client that has saved last time the mission file. So please try to open your client, go in Options => Misc. => and untick "Spectator external views" Than open your mission editor, open mission, save it, put on a server and check it out. It's not documented and even not intuitive way, but it should works since I've achieved this behavior on my servers.
  15. Personalmente non ho esperienza di volo diretta con ala rotante, tanto meno nello specifico sul Gazelle. Quello che ti posso dire è che sicuramente il modello di volo presenta qualche discrepanza, non parliamo di cose completamente fuori dal mondo, ma di sicuro potrebbe essere migliorabile. Se guardi diverse recensioni troverai parei spesso contrastanti, anche di ex piloti. Paragonarlo ad altri moduli è difficile, perché in realtà anche a detta dei piloti, il Gazelle ha un comportamento "diverso" da altri suoi "simili", quindi a mio avviso ha poco senso paragonarlo agli altri elicotteri di DCS proprio per quello. Detto questo, sul Gazelle è attivo il programma Free To Play in realtà, quindi se non lo hai ancora acquistato, il consiglio è quello di attivare la trial prima di acquistarlo! È una interessante novità del mondo di DCS questa delle prove gratuite, quindi vale la pena sfruttarla

  17. If the server made just one (1) reboot you'll find the correct log in dcs.log.old, when creating new one the old will be renamed. Of course it will works just for one reboot, if more than one reboot occurs you can't recover the dcs.log
  18. purtroppo non è una funzione nativamente prevista da DCS. Windows ha un supporto rudimentale ai link simbolici che puoi provare a usare, su linux funzionano molto bene, su windows non li ho visti molto stabili e in genere infatti tendo a non usarli. Ora sono un pò incasinato non riesco a descriverti la procedura, ma se cerchi su google: "Come creare link simbolici" dovresti trovare parecchia documentazione anche in italiano. Non l'ho testato personalmente, ma dovrebbe andare così come per il resto.
  19. Mio modesto parere personale, posticipare un pre-ordine, per di più di pochi giorni, non ha praticamente alcun senso, soprattutto se parliamo dello stesso anno fiscale. Quindi non esiste nessuna ragione tecnica e/o pseudo economica per farlo. L'unica spiegazione potrebbe essere che il trailer di lancio non è pronto, però lasciatemi dire, che è sinonimo di poca professionalità annunciare ben due date di lancio del pre-ordine per poi mancarle entrambe. All'atto pratico a noi cambia nulla 2 giorni prima o dopo sul pre-ordine, su questo siamo tutti d'accordo, però Razbam non ha perso occasione di combinarne una delle sue! Detto questo, buon volo a tutti!

Normally I don't play large complex mission with high players count, or you'll end up to experience bad performance ( at least for now with current DCS release that doesn't have new multi thread support. ) What I normally do is play quite complex mission with just a dozen of players, or, if we're doing a multi-squadron mission with really high players count, mission designer are aware to make it "simple" enough with the A.I. and general units count to make the mission flyable and enjoyable. Maybe it's just a bug that is causing server performance degradation, like bullets and weapons not de-spawned etc... But at this point only Enigma server admin can address your issues.
  21. For the best user experience, yours and others pilots as well, I strongly suggest to choose server "near" you. While is true that in DCS you don't need the fastest and strongest connection with 0ms latency to enjoy it like in First Person Shooters, you can still experience bad behavior when latency start to increase a lot, especially in dogfight, fight, formation flight and AAR refueling. if you stay in server with less than 100ms of latency ( ping ) you should be fine. After that, if it's first time at all in multiplayer, start with some PvE server just to understand some stuff of multiplayer, like awacs call, how to manage and interact with server stuff, typically under Radio menu => others... So.....which server? 1 billion question If you're located on EU, or close enough to have a good ping and want to start, you're welcome to join out dcs servers, where we also have a statistics page to track your progress. And if you have question, just have to ask It's very friendly place. Search for: [ITA] Banshee and you'll find them, every one with different features and difficulty. Starting from the one on Caucasus ( easiest ) and up to the Syria that is the more "advanced" Fly Safe
  22. My servers are not affected, but our friends squadron have similar issue on their instances. Since you've mentioned, now I've looked to their log and stops in the same exact point. You'll be able, just for test, to replace the server DNS? rather than use the ISP DNS servers, try to use third parties DNS, like primary from google ( 8.8.8.8 ) and Cloudflare ( 1.1.1.1 ) for example? ( or any other not related to your ISP ) Because so far it's seams related to specific ISP congestion, or ED server unreachable, but just for some ISP/host provider. Let me know if it's help to solve. I'll ask to do the same also to our friends to understand if they have benefits or not. Fly Safe!
  23. 16GB is fine for a single server, so no problem on that. Take care about the CPU configuration of the Optiplex 7040, since it's a complete line up starting from cheap cpu that can handle just a light firewall, up to good i7 to run server.
