  1. called "throttle range" it would be better if it was a momentary push type switch like on the fa-18 to create a one-way gate effect, since if the ultimate intent is to give artificial feedback to controllers that lack feedback, then having to mentally keep track of the switch state (or checking the fuel flow) is not much of a difference than not having the switch at all.
  2. please dont request picture, you're not the only person in the air and when awacs is spending a minute listing all the contacts it sees youre denying your teammates access to bogey dopes.
  3. you can see which wire you caught if you would just look over your shoulder
  4. vast majority of features are not yet implemented there's a list of features that are implemented, go read the faq thread.
  5. the cursor will move even in nav, you just have to make sure you have your radar selected as soi
  6. the hornet is already extremely stable, i dont understand how you can't just set your vvi to a safe spot and take your hand off the stick you shouldnt be fiddling with the gear and flaps with your hand off the stick though. get your stuff set up and work those once you're ready to fly the plane again.
  7. rudel's already made a statement on the artistic direction for the cockpit weathering. perhaps you should come to terms with what you're given, just like real pilots do.
  8. you can, just saying you can also convert an existing install
  9. just use your eyes fly up to the tanker you need to hold formation with the tanker so look at the tanker, not at numbers
  10. moneys on you running stable version right now the fa-18 is only downloadable on open beta branch fa-18 module will later be released to stable branch after ed feels comfortable with version stability migration to ob branch is simple and can be done with just a command line parameter https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030
  11. it used to be you could just dial them back down a tad bit under max and they wouldnt go out but since then they've made the threshold lower. dialing them down to where the arrow ends was pretty safe the last time i used them.
  12. no, it actually works. you have to give it a solid click, or you can consider it a click and hold for half a second or so, and it will move from mil to burner with having to 'reapproach the gate'
  13. the community has a capacity to self-regulate if someone tk's and other people are allowed to lay in on them, i guarantee everyone will start respecting pid more because nobody wants to be the next "that guy". and far from driving people away, in the end it is only going to attract people because everyone recognizes the value in doing well the things that require discipline. else why do people love aar and carrier landings even when they suck at it?
  14. the ingame recording function, click "save track" after a mission also read patchnotes
  15. gassed a couple times this morning havent encountered that at all so many possibilities here you're better off attaching a replay if it keeps happening
  16. if it turns out you're not aligned to poke the basket when you slide in, don't try to adjust from that position pull back, realign, then reapproach
  17. you want the paddle switch to override the g limiter for better instantaneous rates and aoa, not spin recovery lmao
  18. no, you can (and should) turn off this feature completely in the special options section if you use a throttle with hardware detent like the warthog
  19. fair number of people own a throttle unit that isn't the warthog
  20. love the afterburner detent implementation, this should be updated across the board to be the standard mechanic on all dcs modules with burner detents.
  21. theres more to do with your life than timing patch releases
  22. dcs is still a piece of entertainment software in the end, dont get ahead of yourself.
  23. no its the same button, they do different things depending on the current mode
  24. dont chase the bracket you need to command the bracket's movement with your throttle instead
  25. that's being a bit overdramatic. there are bugs that need reporting, but a distinction can easily be made between which areas of the aircraft can be bughunted on and which shouldnt.
