  1. It's not a major problem when you start cold (unless you forgot to change the code before you are ready to taxi which is 90% of the time for me), but when you land and rearm it doesn't have any sense, and it has been like this since years? while some aircraft can change the code magically from the cockpit. I forgot about the new rearm window, I'll check it again. I remember seen the news but really didn't pay much attention since it was really green in its development.
  2. The thing is I alway used auto, the stabilator controls are not even mapped on my HOTAS. I don't understand. I will fly a little more and pay attention to the stabilator changes. NVM, I think I found the problem. NOE was on, I don't remeber turning it on though. I was flying with a frined as CPG maybe he turned it on?. I tested it and it has the same behavior. thanks.
  3. I sometimes experience an issue with the auto stabilator when going below 80 knots the nose of the aircraft violently pitchs downward, NOE was off. I couldn't see how many degrees changed but it almost killed me 4 times in the same mission.
  4. So, we can load in a few seconds 4 GBU-12 with the engines on, but to change the codes of the bombs we need to shut down the aircraft. Doesn't make much sense to me. Why the bombs can't be loaded WITH the new codes?
  5. You need to bring it to the center. I'm trying to understand why someone would need this feature, maybe you're changing speed very fast, like 120 to 0 in 4 seconds? I can't understand because if you're flying at 120 and expect to hover pressing a trim reset at that speed it will only get much much worse.
  6. Will be posible to share SPI/Mark points over DL with other L16 aircrafts? (F-16 - F-18) I can see F-18 SPI over DL but Its imposible to store them, plus the cross on the HSD of the TGP is gone.
  7. It's difficult because we can't feel the cyclic as irl. I just try to fly as relaxed as I can so I make trim inputs as I need it without worrying of the controls position. With the rudders I know if I increase torque I need to increase left rudder or right rudder if I decrease it and try to keep the heading looking outside. I use the control overlay when I take off, so I can set the rudder to a take off position. I flew the Ka-50, Mi-8, UH-1H and now the AH-64D and I never had the need for a trim reset, but I see its a very demanded feature.
  8. Sorry if it sounded like that, it wasn't my intention. English is not my language and I may not choose the best words. Also, I'm not the master pilot of the AH-64D, I still have some issues with changes in torque.
  9. I'm not against a trim reset, but its clearly not necessary. You just need to fly the aircraft and make the corrections you need to fly the helicopter. From 120 knots to a hover I make around 4 to 5 trim imputs without even notice. I don't even fly with the controls window. Try to make corrections as you need it without thinking about it. I think you will fly much more relaxed.
  10. For me its much more unstable in yaw than the Ka-50.
  11. I also never used it. I just fly the thing and trim as I need it.
  12. Not only within F16, It's also intermittent with other datalink members like F18. Sometimes you can't see other members of the datalink flying very close to you, like 2nm. I don't know if it also happens with the F18. One problem may be the datalink of the F16 and F18 is very slow, it updates every 12 seconds which is a lot.
  13. In the F10 map: -select units by drag and drop -indications of ROE (icon) -indications of radar status, on/off/destroyed (icons) -sound alarm and indication when a group finish its route -sound alarm and indication when a unit is shot -sound alarm when a unit detects an enemy -a window which shows aamo type and how much its left on each unit has on a group -always set movement speed at maximum (maybe in a special option in the main manu)
  14. Agree, but the simulation in DCS stops at the aircrafts. When you start looking it as a game (because it is a game after all) the simulation starts to fall short. We have statics and vehicles that are soo old, 10s of years old and also there are very few ships. The AI is as old as those models and the pathfinding is terrible. When you see that in game all that amazing simulation goes away because you can't believe how stupid the AI is and when you destroy the same static a thousand times (because there're very few of them) through all these years the magic of DCS goes away. When you start doing your own missions you see clearly how stupid the AI is because you need to start over and over and over and over the mission because you need to "fight" the AI to do what you want it to do, needless to say you need to learn lua and scripting to greatly improve them. Yes playing with friends is amazing, new clouds are amazing, the graphics are very good and the simulation overall is excellent (It's probably the best of any game) but ED needs to take this into consideration. I almost have no desire to fly anymore, I will when the AH-64D releases but if ED doesn't change this it won't last longer.
  15. I like DCS very much, but it plays exactly the same as 15 years ago. It didn't really change much in that aspect. The AI needs to be improved A LOT, ground AI more so. You're charging 40 dollars for combined arms and the AI has huge problems with pathfinding and the F10 map its really basic for combined arms.
  16. A fix to path finding once and for all. 40 dollars is the price, com'on!
  17. RCS is not modeled in DCS yet, its just a fixed number of clean aircraft right now.
  18. Unrestricted satnav should be on by default. We play multiplayer a lot on both sides and it gave us a lot of problems.
  19. The problem is with ED not you lol. ED decided to refund only who didn't use miles, I used 3 dollars in miles so I didn't get the 8,5 dollars refund. That money its not big deal, its just about fairness. I will get the same module at the same time as you.
  20. Dont use miles for preorders. They can take your money and give it to someone else, that's what they did with the apache.
  21. It didn't cause damage, ED used the miles spent to refund everyone who didn't use theirs. It was a trade. We basically gave our miles to other customers.
  22. They used our miles to refund the people who didn't use them. LOL. This is worst than the delay.
  23. Can I pay my 3500 miles to get the 8500 miles reimburse for the apache? LOL. This miles policy is nonsense.

From my experience, the boom operator in DCS is really slow and you need to be steady for a while for the DCS operator to conect the boom. It doesn't matter if you're perfectly in position if the aircraft is still moving relatively from the tanker. From the external view, I don't really know since I never watch myself or another aircraft tanking (all use the probe).
