  1. I don't understand why ED doesn't put 1 person to do this kind of stuff. It could update or make 1 static per month and the diversity of missions would be incredible. Right now it feels like a 30 year old game with the same 2 or 3 statics in every single mission. Most of the assets look like this Its really painful to place these cubes to make a mission. At least I expect ED to update the heliport with the MI-24 and AH-64D. I was practicing in the FARP and its horrendous, visually I didn't know the distance to the floor with that texture.
  2. There are tons of people who also fly multiplayer and they don't visit the forums. Where I play around 80% of the people don't enter the forums, and the rest just enter to read. Only ED knows. I believe the ammount of players playing online did increase, and a some people play both SP and MP.
  3. You need a lot of patience to do a mission. You need to learn lua also to make decent missions. To test the mission you need to run it a 100 times. It's a pain but a well made mission can be played a few times. AI always gives me troubles, they do wathever they want most of the times.
  4. Please can you update at least the Heliport FARP, it's 20 years old. And also the 90% of the statics of the game. They look like the first thing you do when starting 3d modeling. Thanks.
  5. Building damage model is 30 years old, the same age as most static buildings. Its really sad.
  6. I think the AI/tool shouldn't be a priority, it may come later when the plane is already in a "good" open beta state. I have the F14 and I've flown it a lot and its really good, and although Jester is one of the best AI I've seen it's REALLY (REALLY) bad compared to a human RIO. I never fly it alone anymore. I think the development of an AI is a waste of time. Maybe using a framework like George may be a good choice for the future for the people who like to fly alone.

  8. It's not easier to lock from the maverick? For me the lock on auto fails a little more and it takes more time to acquire the target.
  9. The jammer doesn't work against the DCS AWACS does it? I never tried it.
  10. The timeline is not moving forward. The only developer which pushed forward was heatblur with the the 2018 eurofighter.
  11. TGT button cycles between TGT, OA1 and OA2 which are offsets.

  13. No, neither from other aircrafts. You can only see their SPI but you cant do anything with it.
  14. I also think an automated AAR should be in the game. I will never use it but I fly with all kinds of players and a lot of them can't do AAR for different reasons.
  15. Not exactly the same but, is it posible to hook other flights SPI through datalink (in the HSD)? like in the A-10C. I know is not posible in DCS atm.
  16. I had the same issue trying to lock that tower. It works "ok" with vehicles. Mavericks in DCS tend to lock anything but vehicles if they are close to a terrain object like buildings or street power poles, even if the vehicle is right in the center of the maverick sight.
  17. JSOW is by far the worst weapon of the F16. Its very unprecise plus unreliable. Always has been like this. The DCS F16 doesn't have AGM-84 nor gbu-39 for bigger standoff.
  18. I think irl that impact should damage (severely) the right track rendering the vehicle unable to move.

  20. The manual of the aircraft explains it well. Its not much different than any other TGP, A-10 or F-18.

  22. So, HB is going to do the same as Deka did with the JF-17. I like some compromises with certain systems for example IFF and other "minor" features which are difficult (or imposible) to replicate exactly in the game, but I don't like this type of approach. The aircrafts should be based on a particular model.
  23. The F16 needs this feature, in multiplayer is essential.
  24. Its just to keep the track visible on the HUD, very handy when flying through clouds.
  25. Practice and more practice, the engine response ok for me. No problems with AAR, formation or landings. If you are tanking with high AoA it will gain speed much slower.
