no, 1108 is a patch for A10c, the fix list is available in another thread. As Quicksilver has said, work on Black Shark compatibility patch will start AFTER the 1108 patch is released.

I believe it is envisioned to be a basis for: - training - red flag type events ...but no reason why it can't be basis for a red dawn type campaign ;) just an FYI, a user called Batou is making an Afghanistan map: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=45658&page=15

How long did it take you to learn the A10?
nemises replied to Flacracker's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
2 minutes...true story -
hmm...the KA50 can also get offset lat / long co-ords for player to player AFACing I think?...can it do UTM I wonder?

Nice post Accipiter, thanks! WarriorX has also made a tutorial for this, and in PDF format for those who want to refer to it offline: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1126958&postcount=4

no, there was a post some time back (after the release of blackshark, but before the announcement of A10c) where Wags listed all of the modules that were "in some way" under production: I think silver dragons "in progress" list is accurate-ish to the contents of that post from Matt all that time ago. Who knows the state of play now though? found the post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=422862#post422862

I "think" the engine is beeing updated in a modular fashion. I believe the audio system (for eg) . has been updated and is offloaded across multiple threads. Lots of fancy shader improvements are used now, which offloads a lot to the vid card (which deals with threading natively) But ultimately the core code in the engine was written waay before multi cores were common and optimising existing code is a lesser risk than re-writing from the ground up. anyway, just my 2c , not trying to extend or prolong any mushroom growing :)

All of WariorX's online tutorials are EXCELLENT also (please see his forum auto sig for links) To be fair, a lot of these are medium to advanced, but I think you can reach teh "medium" point (an arbitrary distinction!) pretty quikley to where you'll actually want to know how to input UTM coords manually or set up an Offset in the EGI

...are the rest of your flight dead at the time?...they will stop communicating after they die.. ...."use the force luke!"

Hi guys, Be aware there is 2 control sets 1) Game 2) Simulation This is defined by the mission in multiplayer, NOT the client.. So, if in single player you normally are set to "Game" , it may be that the mission you are loading up in Multiplayer is set to "Simulator" (or is it "real"..whichever") , which means you may have a differnt control set alltogether. The "simple" solution is to set up your controls in "Simulation" , and always only ever use that ;) Alternatively, open the multiplayer mission in your mission editor, and chanhge the setting that forces "Sim only".

Hi Mac, Try this: - Log into the main ED site here using Internet Explorer (it seems to have problems rendering using Firefox or Chrome): http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com use the "Username" and "password" boxes at the lower left of the main screen - Click on the "payments" button at the lower left It should list the serial number of any software you have purchased off the site

Flight Qualifications Campaign
nemises replied to Sabre-TLA's topic in A-10C Basic Flight Training Qualification DLC
Just tried BFT01 for laughs, and I must say, I'm sold....you've done a fantastic job mate, and I'll be downloading the rest! -
yeah...that's awesome!
-
hmm..interesting, I thought by default they fired once.. Tyger has used Signal Flares a lot in his mission series, I expect he could probably steer you right
-
You could do this today with a couple of mates and a Microphone! ...check out Matt Wagner's mission "Surrounded", he has inserted some recorded voice recording to give a briefing on the targets. The tools are all there in the mission editor for you to set it up, just plan a mission, create a script, record your voice acting and build the mission...don't be afraid to get stuck in!

Hi Folks, Just as an update to this, my good mate StrongHam has mentioned in another thread that this is, infact, most likely a result of asymmetrical loadout which will cause the roll, it is expected and can be cancelled out by Trim. Thanks SH!

Great! thanks!

heh... although I cant say for sure, it's possible , since there has been many changes in the weather systems between patches, that this has been introduced by a patch. Its possible that when the training mission was first created, there was no such forces in action. The Sim is still evolving, and new things (with unforeseen consequences!) are beeing added with each patch. Good luck with it though, it's an amazing sim

Teriander, Create a new mission with no wind or dynamic weather and see if the problem persists. If so, then it seems likely to be input of some kind (most probably the Rudder axis!) When in the cockpit, press ctrl-enter to bring up the controls overlay, this will show you any input the game is receiving. If you find spurious input in the rudder Axis, then double check your axis settings and make sure that ONLY 1 axis is assigned from one device. I had a problem for a while there because both my Saitek Pedals AND the X52 twist were assigned to rudder input, and they would fight and cause problems. If not those things, then you should upload a track like Etherain suggested so someone can have a look to reproduce.
