To each their own. You won't be missing out on anything, it's up to each person to decide what they want to do. Personally I'm pretty much sold aside from real world impressions of the final product. Everything points to the fact that this will be one of the nicest controllers out now or ever for that matter (as far as combat HOTAS's go).

Center mount all the way for me but I have a simpit so its very comfortable with the X52. When I can get my hands on a TM WH HOTAS it'll be even more comfortable given the smaller base. Even if I had a F-16 replica pit I'd probably still want the stick center mount.

Definitely missing a few rivets too! Hog Driver you're a savage! J/K!

There is an option to add skakiness to the cockpit already FYI.

Yes, I'm pretty sure ED wouldn't drop the scalability factor from their sims. Its a great way to get people to try something they might not otherwise be able to wrap their heads around when they first fire up the sim.

But we can still use it for Red Dawn scenarios! WOLVERINES!!!!!!

I'm fairly certain old LOMAC maps WILL NOT work with FC2. As for availability of maps not sure. I think lots of custom maps are out there but most keep them for themselves/squads.

You should see Cat's missions, we have to fly backwards! Extended 6DOF mod is required just so you accurately fire flying in reverse! J/K Cats a good guy and great company real or virtual. Its just not cool to go after grammar on a board anyways! If bad grammar bothers anyone that much the last place they need to be on is a BOARD LOL!

Not gonna happen anytime soon at least. This has been mentioned many times, I'll stick with the simulation of flight aspect myself. And please don't hold up Arma as an example that it can be done lol!

Who the heck flying a modern fighter give chase thru city streets? Is this like Hot Shots where the pilot stops and gets groceries? Although I do love good looking destruction sequences!

I bought DR for $20 and I thought at that price it was a fair deal. It had its shortcomings (too many to list). But for $20 DR was a great 4 player squad shooter. I wish I could have held out for the $4.99 sale on steam!

Is it a pentium 3 overclocked to 1.0ghz? I wouldn't be ashamed but I'd know that it can't push DCS-KA50 based on the box specs.
