  1. Great trailer -as always. Watched it three times already, and I'll probably watch it 10 times before the day is over. And can I just give a nod to the artists. Actual plush on the seat, like individual hairs on the sides strategically placed. Very nice touch
  2. Seriously dude? You think the devs are here to jump for your requests? https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3986560&postcount=9
  3. I think it will impact gpu memory more than fps. A 4096 texture consumes 16 times less than a 16384 texture. Then imagine a handful of those. And some cards dont do well with textures that are 8192x8192, let alone 16384x16384.
  4. I had this happen the other day, when a flight of four Su-34 attacked a carrier group (Stennis, 2x Perry and 2x Normandy). Framerate took a dive and like you, single digits, often 1 (and less). Had to quit the game.
  5. I guess not, but I see what you are referring to now, sorry for the interruption. Ill just stagger on out of here again.
  6. I just see them being notched. 1st clip, perfect notch really, and they get fed some chaff. 2nd clip, they track until again, notched at the end and they go for the juicy chaff's. Too me thats just the ABC of defeating radar guided missiles. So if anything, they are just easier to notch now maybe, and that is what being experienced? If this is accurate or not, who knows. I prefer it that way, cause flawless missiles are boring, and this way you have to consider your shots.
  7. I should probably add, that in the case of bombers and strikers, they have a single trigger zone attached to them (moving trigger). Enter this and it randomly chooses a flag value, each having a time pass. When the Flag value is met and time has passed, the given groups Advanced waypoint has a switch waypoint added (in my case, their DP (Last waypoint, a landing waypoint), which condition is a given flag true. This goes for the fighters too, which also has a hostile trigger zone. Same concept, enter this zone and it randomly chooses a flag value, one of which triggers a flag, which the groups advanced waypoint ROE etc condition has a given flag true. Quite simple really, just crazy trigger intensive setup, especially since I have multiple client planes.
  8. Ive actually just 'completed' such a Intercept mission / sandbox. Still fine tuning and I might post it eventually, in the more official channels. Supports F-14, F-18, F-15, F-5 and Mirage. Feel free to dissect it. Ready Five - Late.miz
  9. Nope.
  10. This is absolute gold, thank you molnbalage .
  11. You arent chasing F-16's, F-16's are chasing you.
  12. Yea, along with Miles Teller character (Gooses son), in what we see at 1:24. Project Aurora or something. Recon mission them two fella's and shit goes bad. Steal a Tomcat and hustle back to allied ground, with a flurry of Super Hornets to the rescue/escort and they shoot their way out of Iran. Its gonna be epic bad. Cant wait . And just spotted this when rewatching (attached).
  13. That looks like 3D Stereoscopic is enabled somewhere in your Nvidia control panel? I dont have the 3D Stereoscopic drivers installed myself, so cant tell you where exactly this would be located.
  14. FC3 modules have no where near the 3D model (cockpit and external), shaders (cockpit especially) and system complexity. F-5E runs 'fast' too for example, like a FC3 module. Mirage has pretty good performance too. F-18 and F-14 are performance hogs.
  15. Eagle and Phantom too. Legend has it, that if you remove it, the entire plane just comes apart :D
  16. A great set of setups displayed in this thread  That must be propaganda though, cause I dont believe everybody has it that neat and tidy 24/7 :)
  17. Great guide MD-44, thank you .
  18. Ah bummer. Maybe some day DCS will allow it, cause it sure would add an extra dimension to carrier operations. Thank you so much for giving it a go .
  19. Indeed. Tomcat has that feature which is really handy.
  20. Ah yes of course, you can assign a trigger to the carrier. Simple always does it
