  1. Good deal, thanks guys!! Holton, I've downloaded your mod and I'll give it a go. ~Rob
  2. Is there a link to all of the airplane mods that work with 2.5.2? thanks in advance! ~Rob
  3. I don't even care about that, I just want to be able to put Corsair mod, Skyhawks, and Tomcats on the "boat" together for that mid 70's carrier group theme....maybe even along with another 2 seat Grumman that's been discussed on the RAZBAM pages???
  4. No news on this since Xmas.....can we get a scrap?
  5. I noticed a few updates ago that I lost the ability to use the camera that points directly down. I was hoping it would come back, but nah. Anyone else missing this, or is it just on my end? ~Rob
  6. Quick question, I saw that it had been discussed previously that the Skyhawk wouldn't be able to launch off the Stennis with the catapult. Does that mean visually it wouldn't, like the add on mod planes and the older CVN mod, where you could use the cat but visually it wouldn't "hook up" to the cat, or does that mean it just plain wouldn't work? ~Rob
  7. ".....and upcoming F-4E,..." Nope, on hold for a while while ED pumps out four other modules. And actually, per Wags, it never says it will be after those four, he made it clear that ED wants to put out other modules to clean their plates before moving on to other BST/ED projects. Now, if the Sabre jet gets an update why not go for the long wing F-40 with wing slats? Or a late Fury, like the -4 or -4B? Sure would loves me some tube jet carrier ops!
  8. +1 more for a UH/MH/HH-60.
  9. You're missing one thing though......Ens Jack Ernie
  10. So it didn't work for me out of that location, lol mine worked out of this one: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\WWII Units\SpitfireLFMkIX\Liveries\SpitfireLFMkIX\Fargo express It's so funny to me how the skins for each airframe are out in different locations on my end, and then in totally different locations for others. Hilarious! Anyways, thanks for trying to help Rudel, much appreciated. ~Rob
  11. hi all, Just purchased the spit. Was wondering if any of you chaps might post the extension of where to put skins? Cheers!
  12. Can you talk about your switch set up for these passes?
  13. It won't as far as pubs go, but it most likely will attract folks to a new series of USN/USMC start up units that have been showing up all over the place with release of Hornet. I love flying in the scripted co-op setting, less hassle and more manners than your standard pub, I'm sure I'm not the only one.
  14. It's true, she's a bit wiggly. I set my controls up per Chuck's and still added some dampening in. I know I lose some over all ACM capabilities, but it's marginal enough that it really hasn't affected anything except making my flying smoother.
  15. What was the issue? I might try to run some modded planes and it would help me troubleshoot if I run into problems
  16. Vectury - Curious, why the A-6B and the EA-6B?
  17. The A-10A is not a case study sim like the C is, and the TF-51 is simply a real Mustang with the guns removed and no gunsight. Did ED even bother changing the CG or FM on it?
  18. "teaching granny to suck eggs"....lol Ren & Stimpy??
  19. Hey, another thing, if you had externals on and you have the toggle still in the "select jettison" position it'll make your AG ord not leave the A/C too. I have done this more times than I care to admit
  20. That is good news! Thanks Prowler! Hope = restored.....many hugs!!! ~Rob
  21. You aren't. RAZBAM teased with a pic, but it wasn't in their recent surprises stuff, and there were modules spoken of or further along, namely Intruder and A-7. ED talked of a rotary module a few months back, but now that the BST/ED merger is a thing I imagine that the helo they spoke of was most likely the Cobra announced a few weeks ago. I hope that I am wrong about my speculations, but after a year of hoping I think I am with you VooDoo.
  22. Dang, guess I never noticed previously. Thank you for the information Holton. ~Rob
  23. I think most of the world knows what is going on in "our house" today, meaning in the US, and so I wanted to share a funny anecdote that I myself was witness to. On July 4th, 2005 I saw standing bridge watch on the Mighty Warship Wrangell, as we called the USCGC Wrangell, on patrol ops in the NAG working under the Royal Navy warship HMS Campbeltown. She had recently arrived in theater, and in spectacular fashion I might add, and I guess to welcome her one of our sister ships and brother USCG crews decided to have a little fun. ( I say brothers because only one USCG cutter over there had females as crew, and that ship, USCGC Monomoy, ship was not the originator of the following). While standing morning watch with my Commanding Officer on the 8-12 we were bs'ing, conducting our watch duties, etc when we overheard the following series of transmissions. the USCG warship shall remain nameless, although a quick trip to the archives would most likely result in the actual name of her, however I have made up the callsign "Yoshi" instead of the cutter's actual name or theater callsign. Use a polite, soft British voice for CT's part, because he absolutely had the most British and most polite voice I've ever heard on a radio: "Campbeltown, Yoshi, over?" "Yoshi, this is Campbeltown, go ahead, over" "HAPPY 4th!!!! around ten seconds of silence....... "This is Campbeltown, roger, out" Skipper and I looked at each other like "Holy sh!t, did that really just happen??? I hope you enjoyed my entry for "this day in history" ~Rob
  24. Flew the Huey Sunday evening for the first time in a month and a half or so, it was a night mission. Anyone else notice strange stuff with the lights? I powered up the battery and hit my interior overhead light and all was good, panel lights good, but the exterior lights made quite a splash in my cockpit.... The position lights splashed the cockpit overall in white and the rotating beacon flashed obnoxiously inside the bird. I was fairly unhappy as I don't recall it being like this? I noticed on the update today that a few modules had a similar issue and it was fixed on this patch, but noticed that the Huey was not updated similarly. Is this a known bug, and if so is this something that is being addressed? Thanks for any help! ~Rob
