An Inside Snap Roll at 7-8 Gs will trash practically any aircraft.
Might not break it, but I guarantee it will be downed for a complete inspection.
You're flying in an extreme manner usually reserved for the "Last Best Chance" to survive whether the jet makes it or not.
Get your vertical sorted first and then smooooooothly drive forward at no more than 1 or 2 knots over tanker speed to center both guide lights. Whoa up there and let the boomer do his thing.
Anticipate the lights and enjoy the ride.
FWIW, I’m on Cox in AZ and Cox rarely (if ever) announces when they make any changes to their tech specs. Case in point, I have a DOCIS 3.0 modem coming next week (slow boat from Amazon) because Cox went from DOCIS 2 to DOCIS 3 without saying anything. At least they didn’t say anything here in PHX.
I’ve been experiencing a great deal of lag in 2.5.6 and I’m hoping the modem upgrade will help.
Oh, and Cox does offer a Gamer Deal which they claim minimizes hops between user and servers.
I’m currently on their 200 service.
Spitballing here but I’d guess that for every 10 people I run across who are new to DCS or ask me about it based on my activities, I’d say maybe 2 or 3 know that these Forums, Discord, Reddit, etc. exist.
There are currently no strategic aspects to DCS so there’s really no point in introducing a strategic asset.
Do you really want to drone along for an entire 8 hour sim session basically alone and helpless (unlikely you’d enjoy the relative benefit of the Combat Box formation) with the distinct possibility you’d get smoked by enemy fighters?
I see this shade of pink on the A-10C as well. It also bleeds through the wingtips and colors the outside edges of stuff on the outboard pylons. Light shouldn’t be going there.
Having flown over the Arizona desert at night under a full moon, yes, it does look like that. The only thing missing is the proper extreme to which you can see lights in the distance. You should be able to see the LV Strip from 100nm away.
