FREE Campaign : Mi-8MTV2 - Palestrael 25
MAXsenna replied to dggoofy's topic in Missions and Campaigns
I believe the map changed a lot after the campaign was updated. When landing with wounded, look for cars and not necessarily the helipads. I'm pretty sure they didn't exist pre campaign. In other missions, look for red flags. I love this campaign. There's another mission that didn't work at all. It doesn't proceed after startup, but you can still finish it by looking at the briefing and the number of the outposts to fly correctly, and it will trigger the triggers. Cheers -
Fair enough. I was just joking. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

resolved Authorisation failed for odd modules

In all honesty, the firewall is just not a variable nor a factor. It's just not how it works. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk -
Weird F-16 Quickstart Free Flight Mission Issue
MAXsenna replied to Wacky's topic in Bugs and Problems
Never happened to me, and it should turn off if you exceed the banking limit. Have you bound any switches to and have checked synchronise with HOTAS on mission start in the general settings? -
Yeah, like I wrote it seems they haven't implemented it yet. I'm sure they will. [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Soviet-afghan War Campaign for Mi-24 RELEASED

Excellent! [emoji1303] Thank you! [emoji1319] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk -
To be honest, I don't think I understood what you meant. Are you referring to like switched and knobs that we have in the cockpit but has no function? Like what was mentioned in the F-4E section, where a certain switch does not yet have keybinds, because it's function does not yet have any function in the module? Hence why I specifically mentioned encoders above, and how their behaviour is different compared to axis. Of course you can. Just use your favourite joystick to key mapper, or just use a hat. I personally use the bottom row on one of my TM MFDs for the ABRIS. Cheers all!

That's in the eye of the beholder, as with all shows, many seasons fall short of the first one. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

There are several modules that have axis that are not, yet, bindable in DCS yes? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
-
In my opinion, every axis in any module that is an axis in the real aircraft, should be available as a bindable as an axis in the game. While with encoders that scrolls from and to infinity, one can run into trouble if they are axis. Cheers!

I edited my answer. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Because it's not axis in the real aircraft. And it would probably work very badly. What to do when you've reached the end of your physical axis, but you still need to "scroll" further? [emoji848] Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Campaign for DCS OH-58D: "Through the desert dust"
MAXsenna replied to YoYo's topic in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
Correct. Whenever you want to land, order the AI to "hold position/anchor here" or whatever the command is. Then when you're done, make AI rejoin formation. This works perfectly. [emoji4] Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk- 94 replies

Su-33, able to retract nose gear while deployed on ground

Synchronised cockpit controls? -
A re-installation will never help with that issue. Even better, you can perform a repair that will take minutes and reset all the core files. And if rename your DCS Saved Games folder, the game will be completely reset to vanilla. Perform a traceroute, and it will tell you where the problems are on the route to the site. Open a command line window, type tracer address and press enter, and off you go.
-
Absolutely my wish, while it seems they won't be dipping their toes in the current conflict.
-
Come to think of it, many other people have reported the same, so I don't think that's the issue. While, when they eventually fix it, you might experience issues regarding trimmed position conflicting with the curves. But like I wrote, it's most noticeable in helicopters. Cheers! That's why you want to perform a traceroute so you can tell your ISP where it stops. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Wait a minute! You have set curves on your FFB base? Try without and see if the stick moves when trimming then. DCS does NOT support curves with FFB, because the curves will never match with the actual linear stick position the FFB depends on. Support for this has been requested in the general wishlist section. It might not be so noticeable in an airplane, but try it in a helicopter and the trim will ALWAYS be off. Cheers!
