  3. just wondering. Is the navy phantom with its draggy Gunpods still a better dogfighter compare to the E because of the CG placement? I assume because of the gun is place at the nose would make it less maneuverable ?
  4. well HB did say that one of the reason why Forrestal was delayed was because they want the carriers to be compatible for their future module. If its not the F-4 with their bridle then idk what. Its definitely not their A-6 because they use launch bar
  5. The best middle ground is to have atleast the Plane Director, the Shooter and a plat cam while leaving the rest of it out. Assuming ED doesn't allowed HB for a full animated deck. I own the supercarrier. And i ended up being in a lose lose situation because everytime we do a carrier ops mission with myfriends. we either have to - have 2 carriers SC and non SC - or stick with the stennis. And yes Stennis does not have a lot of slot like the SC.

  9. sorry to bring old topic but this makes me curious. Can the Lantirn without PTID and CDNU update slave to a waypoint from the INS when you press QWEP +\- IRL or is it just one of those compromise that you have to make because you cant make the PTID

  12. Okay both station has control right, and you are probably going to fly it for combat in online since you are kibda limited if you seat in the back for combat. So i was wondering if its a good idea if the CPG is the host station and leave the starting procedure to AI

  15. wasn't there was a GIF couple years ago regarding animated deck for the Forrestal? I guess ED wont let them do it since that will effect SC sales

  20. Im going to guess that the pylon is probably part of the F-14 main model instead of a seperate model. So making it seperate would require a new model. I wish they are seperate as well. Its a tiny thing that makes the Zone 5 campaign more immersice
  21. Yep it happen randomly but most of the time you wake up when you are at the end of the cat shot. Now if I have to guess. There is an animation bug where during launch, the shuttle would sometimes compress the nosewheel strut in an unrealistic way. See here at 1:14-1:18 So when that happen, the game would recognize it as an instant negative G acceleration Now compare it with this at 0:45
  22. I feel there is something missing in WW2 DCS when you can't control a bomber. However I understand that it would take a lot of effort and resource to make a full fidelity. so having the current AI to be flyable as an FC3 included in the WW2 asset pack seems like a fair middle ground. what do you think?
  23. Jester its a bit bugged when it comes to callout for STT target. I have a hinch that it might be cause because there are the same aircraft on both side. My advice is to use the TCS( I bind the button myself) Now with that being said. Please HB add FOV option for the TCS in Jester menu so i can IFF far target
  24. After playing a couple of MP, I've notice that missiles are visible in SA page. Is that realistic?
