Hello Chops, The first entry sounds like a technical issue; did this problem go away in the meantime? The second entry is not an issue, the crew chief simply doesn't respond to this command (note: Crew chief <> Jester!). Regarding the third entry: A procedure is something different than a checklist. Often - also in reality - people mix up these terms. A procedure is more like a receipt what to do and how to do, and includes many system checks that are not super important for flight safety. A checklist exists in order to finally make sure that all really important items have been accomplished, because they ARE really important. If you miss one of these (or ignore what the checklist tells you), you most probably rush into problems, ranging from smaller problems up to flight safety relevant issues. Hope this helps you a bit. Hey saltyleon, I am just curious, have you phinally managed to fly that lesson with success?

Updatelog: 2024-10-08, 00:10 UTC ================== Dear Viggen drivers! I have some important news for you: .) Training flight M190-23-0 / Startup procedure (including Taxi) is now released. .) All training flights have been changed to consider the new training flight as the third in the row. .) All .miz files of the training flights have been saved with current DCS version 2.9.8.1214. .) Kneeboards have been reworked, and also to include the airbrake in and out commands. The new lesson took a very long time to get finished. Not only were there many learning objectives to build up, but also took the lesson design a considerable amount of hours. The list of relevant theoretical knowledge for that lesson is a longer than for the other lessons, because many systems are "touched" in certain ways during startup. Don't fear too much, the list only contains the most important sections of the current RC2.1 manual I hope you find it interesting and it works for your without any issues. Happy landings startups & kind regards TOViper

If I want to have stable 90 in VR, I am using 120 as the frame limit; this value I set in NVIDIA control panel for "Maximum frame rate". It seems for me that setting exactly 90 is too less, since there is no margin for uncertainties.

Hey Kanebolle, thanks for the long list you provided! Where did you got information regarding item 2. from? Or did you try it on your own?

[Fixed] "123.456" is not a valid frequency for FR24
TOViper replied to some1's topic in Bugs and Problems
@Silhou This was repaired in a previous update and can therefore be closed. Thanks! -
Hey guys! Have you experienced differences in the behavior of DCS (or frame rates) when using "Low Latency Mode" set to "ULTRA" versus "OFF"? I am asking because that's the only setting I haven't played around ever since this option exists in NVCP...
-
GO FOR IT mate! You can't do aynthing wrong on that, so what are you waiting for .... ???
-
Hey Smokin1469! Thanks for your report! The info has already been forwarded and the bug is now repaired internally. For the moment, until the next DCS update arrives, you may open the lesson in the mission editor, add a few AIM-9Ls, then save the lesson, and then fly it.

Hey Hammer 1-1 ... I really don't want to sound too edifying now (really!), but reading a lot is one of the important things before going flying ... IMHO it makes flying much more enjoyable, instead of being frustrated while bursting through the air at Mach 2 ... Feel free to come back to any question here, but before I highly advise to read about what the aircraft is capable of doing for you ... and what not ... and what the aircraft expects FROM YOU BTW: if you miss something in the training lessons guide in the online manual, just give a hint, because HB is interested in making the guide better and better at all times; but obviously it needs some feedback by the pilots out there ...

Hello Hammer 1-1, I hHope you find your way through the jungle. In any way, read through this, which may help: https://f4.manuals.heatblur.se/dcs/training_missions.html#lesson-04---tips--tricks

Would this be working with an invisible farp too?
-
Hey Dentedend10! 1.) Are you sure that your real control stick moves fully left, and also thereby setting the in-game deflection to 100%? Check if there is any limiting thing like curvature or saturation. You can control this via the "controller input indicator" (default binding is RCTRL+ENTER). 2.) Is this happening only in the campaign, or is this happening in a single ME setup?
-
Yoyo, is this still an issue?
-
@BIGNEWY tactical ping; track files are linked above.

There are separate keybindings for that ... since I am not sitting in front of my computer, I cannot tell you what their names are. But should be doable for a nerd like you -
