  1. I made a little High Action Display diagram that indicates what many of the messages mean. If you find any issues just let me know and I will correct them. HAD messages v3.pdf
  2. You can use the MSL SKR as a ACQ source for a jank LST.
  3. It would be nice, I agree. I kinda hope we get more too, but with the current damage model in dcs it might not make any difference.
  4. Wags has one here.
  5. The OFF-ON-TEST 3 position switch controls the powering of the CMWS. On the display F indicates the amount of Flares remaining, C indicates the amount of Chaff remaining. The circle with 4 arrows indicates what quadrant the threat is coming from. When the device detects a launch on it flashes in the quadrant it’s detected from. The D inside the circle lights up when it is dispensing flares. The R inside the circle indicates the device is Ready. The guarded switch jettisons flares. The SAFE/ARM switch arms the device. CMWS/NAV switch turns off the audio so you can listen to nav audio like Morse code. The bypass/auto switches between auto flare dispense and pre planned flare program without auto dispense.
  6. Store button isn't enter. TEDAC+LHG+RHG.pdf
  7. Yes, red indicates terrain higher than your altitude. It is explained in this video
  8. To give it some character
  9. So think of it like this, the nav range sets your 0 range, and as you tilt your head up and down, it either subtracts or adds range. So say your 1.4Km from the nav range target, if you set your head on the cued LOS the rockets are ranged for 1.4KM, if you tilt your head up to +200m it will add that to the nav range, so 1.4 (Navrange) + 200m (Head tilt) = 1.6km ranging. So if rockets fall short on the first run you can add range by tilting your head up.
  10. Since you say you’ve been in the dcs community for years, you should know how early access works. When you pay, you still have to wait till they release it. It’s a Preorder and you should know that.
  11. Our JHMCS will only be able to show 1 PDLT which is selected by TMS up on them on the HSD. Newer JHMCS implementations show datalink just like the hornet.
  12. You can use the cursor on the TEDAC or Collective to select things on the MPD
  13. The viper is not 80-85% complete
  14. Maybe try out the free UH-60 mod
  15. Please allow us to switch between the Pilot and Gunner in multiplayer. It would greatly improve your capabilities when you are alone.
  16. No Link 16, the E model apaches have L16 though
  17. You already can start planning it out. Wags released a PDF of the collective and I released a PDF of the TEDAC Left Hand Grip and Right Hand Grip.
  18. The AG radar in theory should work, maybe its bugged.
  19. You cannot do double ugly with the viper due to the fuel system. You would get trapped fuel with a single wing bag.
  20. There are already so many "fantasy implementations" in DCS. An approximation wouldnt be unusual. IFF, HTS, ECM, Link 16 are examples of so called "Fantasy Implementations." I think BFT would be a great addition to the AH-64
  21. In 2013 I know DL was on the HMD in the viper just like the hornet. Im not sure when it got upgraded to this though. Also in 2013 DL shows on the HUD
  22. As mentioned in the latest TSD video from Matt Wagner, the SA feature isnt planned. I think an approximation of the system would make a great addition the the Apache. As linked below it mentions, "Blue Force Tracker-1 (BFT-1) and Blue Force Tracker-2 (BFT2) are used by almost every ground and aviation vehicle in the US Army today." I think marking every friendly on the SA might be a good approximation of the system. In addition the document states, "Blue Force Tracking (BFT) describes a GPS-enabled system that provides military commanders and forces with location information of both friendly (blue) and hostile (red) forces." So I think adding enemies within LOS of friendly units with a lesser accuracy might be a fair implementation of the Blue Force Tracker network. https://www.satelliteevolutiongroup.com/articles/blue-force.pdf
  23. The Apache doesnt only show the EPLRS (which are the green crosses in the A-10) but it also uses Blue Force Tracker
