We are seeing this exact behaviour. We had two land based Hornets get bounced around and destroyed when a single carrier launched Hornet flew into the area. We were recovered on the ground parked, and both land based aircraft were destroyed by extreme turbulence. The carrier launched Hornet was bouncing up 1000’ and back down onto the runway.

Here's a couple of shots that show how strong the wake is in close and how far away you can see it. I hope to see wake effects like this modeled as it definitely made it easier in the early days of the Hornet to judge the pattern.

Flight planning would dictate an alternate airport with better visibility. ILS isn’t the only approach airplanes can fly. TACAN approaches can get you down below the clouds where you can fly the rest of the approach visually. F-16N are Aggressor aircraft only. Not many of them flying.

The last time Subs dug in this hard he was arguing with an actual F-14 Pilot about flat spin techniques. Ended up getting a good thread locked and he was proved wrong over and over. Shame there wasn’t anything learned out of that thread.....

Just copy the manual info over to the Tf-51 and put a few of those into a mission. If you’re running on the Caucasus map, you don’t need to buy anything. Just set up an additional DCS world account and log the server into that. I’ve done it lots and you can get neat stuff like this picture and picture

If you're doing the BFQ missions, I believe they marked the touchdown zone between two armored vehicles on grass just off the left hand side of the runway at Batumi. It's pretty close to the end of the runway.

NATOPs confirms the toggle function for NWS with the wing fold handle unlocked. With wings down and locked, you need to hold the NWS button in order to enter HI mode.

With your system it should be no problem. I happily run mine on more than average settings, 6700k/1080Ti. As has been said, get the wallet ready. You won’t want to go back. I would also suggest keeping it simple at first, gentle banks, just a nice sightseeing flight. If you go canyon running, dogfighting or heavy aerobatics, you may not feel very good. It doesn’t take long to get your inner ear used to it, but everyone adjusts at a different pace. I’ve had friends that could hop straight into aerobatics and friends who were nauseous from flying gently. Once you get used to it, nothing bothers you.

Not fixed with today's update.....................Makes it hard to put together videos for the squadron pilots to give feedback to where they can improve.

I’ve seen a few threads indicating perhaps a conflict with the Community A-4. May be worth a try to remove it. It worked for a couple of pilots in our wing that tested it today.

Agreed - this isn't a wishlist item, this is a bug from a previously working situation. This really messes with those that want to record their squadron's landings at the boat. I sure hope this isn't a backwards way to force purchases of an upcoming pay module in order to get view capabilities on the LSO platform...

Same problem in VR. We had this same issue a few versions ago, looks like it got unfixed.

Played for about 20 minutes tonite...had the CV1 since release day, this is an amazing step up in resolution with no performance penalty. Did two case I recoveries with an (OK) and an OK from Airboss. Can easily make out the ball. Unfortunately, I have no sound out of the headset. Seems there might be a windows issue or I’m just completely an idiot, but 2 hours and I can’t get sound through it.

You bought a retail license for an addon to a video game....nothing like investing in the stock market. It is NOT a ‘legit’ investment. It’s not a financial instrument, you can’t do anything with it and you’re not going to make money off of it. You knew it was early access, you bought it anyways, and now you’re inventing arguments to complain on the internet. Suck it up, contribute to bug fixes and testing, as an early access adopter can, shut up and fly it, or fly something else. It’s not a broken sim of a plane.

I’d also remember the Big Bird (BB) radar found with the SA-10. The S-300 is a nasty piece of business that will reach out and tickle you up high and from a long distance away.
