  1. Yes, TARGET has offset ability in the programming.
  2. The procedure for the AIM-9 dome has changed so many times in the last 20 years. Was once right before taxi, another was before startup, another is after startup. Currently it is before startup and install after shutdown.
  3. Doh I’m just going to blame the high heat and being outside. Lol
  4. NVM didn’t think it through.
  5. Tanks and barrier cables.... unbelievable how much damage is done by that cable.
  6. Looks normal to me. Not one single radome is the same. They were once black, but now they are various shades of grey. It is the one thing that doesn’t get a fresh coat of paint during the schedule paint maintenance. So it will fade over time from sun, weather, and flying.
  7. Things to consider: If one program is ran as admin, both need to be. Not saying they both need to run as admin (I don't run either as admin). Two, launch OBS prior to launching DCS.
  8. By chance is one install running in "run as admin"?
  9. Sounds like the anti-chaff wrap has failed, and you have wires that broke. Opening up the throttle isn't that difficult, if you have basic mechanical skills. There are plenty videos on YouTube on how to accomplish it.
  10. Uninstall the drivers, device, and select a different USB point. Out of the box the rudders shouldn't need any calibration. What ever you do, do not use the windows calibration tool, it definitely messes up the throw in DCS. If you have done that, go in and delete the calibration by "resetting" the calibration under the windows controller panel. If you must use the TM tool, did you start the program with all the TM devices unplugged? Seems a lot of people miss that important step. When you unplug them the second time the program should continue on. Sounds like you missed a step along the way.
  11. Don't do that, you will definitely will have issues in DCS.
  12. That’s the difference between operators, every USAF Viper unit I have been with, have used AB in the A/G configuration (wing tanks).
  13. I think flicker is the best term, it is a flame and it is going to move or change shape especially as it tapers out toward the end.
  14. I hope I didn't sound harsh, definitely didn't mean it. I don't know from just a forum conversation if everyone knows the little details, that us maintainers can pick up on from images. I just wanted to point out the details that indicated that the aircraft was in afterburner. :pilotfly:
  15. In that configuration (with tanks), he/she has definitely lit the can. Can also tell by the turkey feathers, as the nozzle is opened versus being closed if it was a MIL power.
  16. The sounds from that video is about the same sounds I heard with earplugs and helmet. I suspect the option to "hear like helmet" would match pretty closely.
  17. Just means that you can not load the module into Steam if you manage your games via steam. If you have DCS World as stand alone, you won't have any issues including using Steam VR.
  18. You can give people a brick of gold and they will complain that it is too heavy.
  19. Video is shown as that is his reference on how he started the aircraft, not that the problem was in the video.
  20. 24th TASS doesn't fly block 50s, they fly block 42s. The only GE powered aircraft at Nellis are the Weapons School Vipers (block 40s), which this will be the first class to fly the GEs as they just transitioned from PW to GE after the graduation of 19-1. In 2007 the following units were flying the block 50s:
  21. GBU-39 wasn't available on the 2007 Viper.
  22. To add what everyone else said also if you used the calibration tool that is Windows, reset that calibration and only use TM calibration software to calibrate. Windows calibration does something funky with the TM devices.
  23. USAF F-16 uses 370 gallon tanks for the wings, and 300 gallon tank for the centerline. There are no other options. Foreign operators have 600 gallon tanks.
