I know this is borderline on the rules, and I apologize. But another WW2 sim has an excellent dynamic career mode. DCS is far superior in many other was but I hope some inspiration is taken from that sim.
I wasn't trying to be pedantic but you know how the DCS community is. If polychop doesn't meet whatever goal they have set to release news people will remember this post and throw a fit when there's no news.
Not that I've seen. Do the math though, they show a picture of a hellfire, they've teased the kiowa, they hope to share news. My guess is deals are being negotiated.
Yea buddy we all want it to release perfectly complete and bug free day 1. But thats not how things work around here...
Maybe don't participate in early access.
Crap... Well according to wikipedia they went from the A and B model 16s to the F-15. Maybe ED will take pitty on me and give us a FL livery anyway so it will be useful in multiplayer.
That doesn't mean Florida never got the C block 50. I'll admit I haven't done my research on that.... But there's a good chance they had them at some point.
How long it flies depends on the supply of parts. You can probably fabricate everything you need for the airframe but radial engines are getting expensive to support because not many people use them so there's no economies of scale when manufacturing parts. I have no idea if it's a different story for the An-2's engine in the rest of the world though.
Maybe I had takeoff assist on by default? First take off this thing went straight down the runway for me. I was shocked by how easy ir was so it must be the assist. Maybe try that to start?
Now that I've had some time to play with this I can say it's the plane I didn't know I needed! It's very nice and I'm having fun giving 109 pilots hell. This thing is so slow it cant get out of its own way but it turns like nobodys buisness and it puts out a crazy amount of lead.
