  1. Hey if you could do a quick test for me - to see if you are able to bind the master arm switch to the lower left rocker switch on one of the MFD's (think it's CON) and maybe even the GUN PAC /GUNARM to the lower right rocker switch on the MFD (think it's BRT) - I'd be exceptionally grateful! I've been trying for quite some time now to bind those master arm switches so I don't have to click on them with the mouse - or toggle them via keyboard (I use VR). I have done that with the F16 and F18, but cannot with the A10C I/II as they are greyed out as you described. If you could test that easily and let me know, I'd really appreciate it and might have a follow up question for you so I can replicate! It's so convenient. Cheers, Ziptie
  2. If they are going for "reality" unfortunately for you I don't think you'll see that. But who knows, they've made other compromises like "realistic/unrealistic" TDC slew. That being said, I'm already used to the updated way (lack of re-caging to boresight/snowplow). You might find that you adapt to the new method quite quickly. Also, being able to quickly slave it to the HMCS almost makes it a non-issue as you can quickly manipulate where the TGP points. Much quicker than before for sure. Cheers, Ziptie
  3. She always did, but I feel like it is a bit more accentuated now - not sure if that is because of the changes/improvements to the flight model - or if it is because I was away from DCS for such a long period of time. Cheers, Ziptie
  4. Did you try to bind them under assign axis at the bottom of the control screen, sometimes that gets people as they don't see that button. Takes you to another binding/mapping section of the controls menu. Only thing I could think of, off the top of my head. Cheers, Ziptie
  5. Good ideas! For now I use the scratchpad addon (LCtrl+LShift+X) which opens an window in game that you can write (type) coordinates and information (from F10 map or auditory information) and then easily reference that information while in the aircraft. Best part about that, is that it saves the information even after you close DCS, so it's there when you reopen the game. This is exceptionally helpful for me in the Hornet (as the MP server I fly in doesn't have preset waypoints due to the dynamic nature of the server/mission). Cheers, Ziptie
  6. Latest OB version here. Cheers, Ziptie
  7. I believe that they would be located in either the saved games dcs folder, under the mods sub folder - or in the main dcs folder, under the mods sub folder. But another member might be better suited to give you the exact location. I do know, that if you run the dcs repair tool, there is a prompt that pops up and asks if you'd like to remove mods and when you select yes - it removes them. I've done that long ago, when I used a cockpit texture mod for the "original" A10C. EDIT: There ya go, that member would be a better source for where a mod is located rather than myself. Cheers, Ziptie
  8. I was aware of that, but wondered if maybe the pristine/new cockpit had some issue and didn't show the stick - as I haven't flown with that one - only the "stock" worn cockpit texture. The other question, was simply because at one point I used the cockpit texture mod from that creator (think it was called warhorse by Riccardo or something close). Just not sure how the stick is missing from his game - as many have requested the ED add the option to hide the stick, and he can't even get it to display. Very odd. Cheers, Ziptie
  9. Negative, have had a successful load of the DSMS after selecting the new weapons - from initial request from the ground crew, to rearming requests of same or different weapon types during a single session with multiple sorties. It wasn't required when I performed initial and following rearms - but did you try clearing the weapon profiles from the profile page in the DSMS, and then try reloading the DSMS (or load ALL)? Cheers, Ziptie
  10. APKS (I believe they are actually located in the A/G missile section, not in the rockets section of the different categories for each station). Cheers, Ziptie
  11. Are you using one of the cockpit texture mods (I know you said you didn't have any mods but mistakes have been made before, you wouldn't be the first) or have you selected the "new" aircraft cockpit option in a menu somewhere? That pit looks pristine and the one I'm using has a very worn effect to it. You sure there is no texture mod, like Riccardo(sp?) made that was very popular for quite some time - which could be causing the issue of the missing stick? Cheers, Ziptie
  12. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=287493 As the person above this post stated, and as NineLine stated. Cheers, Ziptie
  13. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4507762&postcount=96 If it still isn't showing up, I'd verify that the purchase went thru via their website - and wasn't showing as pending payment (some reported it took more than an hour for their payment to process). Once verified, I'd recommend to restart your PC just to be safe and then boot DCS. Open module manager from the top of DCS main menu and it should pop up for you. Cheers, Ziptie
  14. Are you key binds there, or are they blank. The key binds were all messed up for me initially - I just used the profiles I had saved for the original A10C, but first flight ended with my aircraft meeting it's shadow as no key binds were present. Cheers, Ziptie
  15. Correct, the A10CII currently requires the OpenBeta version of DCS to run. At some point, it will work with stable version, but when is not known at this time. See the highlighted red section, after opening this link (which is the module on their website): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/tank_killer/ Cheers, Ziptie
  16. Did you then purchase the "A10CII" after purchasing the A10C? If not, that would be why you haven't got the notification to download the A10CII. They are separate. But others are reporting that purchasing the A10C and then purchasing the A10CII is saving them somewhere in the neighborhood of $10-$12 (unsure if that was USD). Also make sure you are using DCS OpenBeta, and not the stable version (don't think A10CII has been released for stable branch yet). A10C: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/planes/warthog/ A10CII: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/planes/tank_killer/ Cheers, Ziptie
  17. There is no pilot body added to the A10CII, as of yet. Possibility in the future? I'd think so. Still worth purchasing the upgrade as of this moment - absolutely! Total game changer just having the Scorpion HMCS, let alone the additional weapons. I think the improved/more accurate flight model was applied to the existing A10C as well - but it's very noticeable on the A10CII. Haven't gone back to fly the A10C yet, not sure I ever will. There really is no point for me anymore - the A10CII is everything I wanted. Cheers, Ziptie
  18. See this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=287529 I believe post #6 clarifies the default key binds that you might be looking for. Cheers, Ziptie
  19. No idea why the default trim hat inputs would have been associated with a modifier - must have been how the primary person who was testing the aircraft before release had it setup, and their input profiles were used for the default. It is, incredibly silly in my opinion. The significant pitch up would most likely be due to the GUN PAC ARM being enabled as well, which when the master arm is disabled - also disables the GUN PAC ARM (which increases maneuverability by giving more authority / input of nose down pitch range). When GUN PAC ARM is enabled, it puts the aircraft in a nose down AOA to assist in precision of the GAU-8 dispersion - hence why you are experiencing a significant pitch up when switching the master arm to SAFE. Cheers, Ziptie
  20. It was China Hat aft short, which used to return the TGP to boresight. DMS aft short never did center the TGP to boresight. DMS aft was responsible for decreasing the zoom when TGP was SOI in the prior iteration of A10C. As another stated, the new functionality is reported as being correct by SME(s). Cheers, Ziptie
  21. Thank you for your service, sacrifice and commitment to our country sir/ma'am. Have you considered getting a pair of the Thrustmaster Cougar MFD's? If you fly the A10C I/II with any regularity, I'd highly recommend it. They were a massive game changer for me personally, and they also work great for the Viper and Hornet. Figured it might be worth mentioning to you (as it also makes it exceptionally easy to select STBY/AG/AA modes with the TGP - along with all the other functions). Cheers, Ziptie
  22. Yes, I was able to copy over my key binds from the A10C to the A10C II. Worked great. Cheers, Ziptie
  23. I was able to finally delete the bindings that allowed the mouse to manipulate the camera view(s) in external aircraft view. Still able to move the mouse and use the left/right mouse buttons while in the aircraft to toggle buttons/switches. The mouse axis bindings were in cockpit view category (if I recall correctly), all the way to the right as I have numerous columns due to having Cougar MFDs, Fanatec peripherals and the Thrustmaster HOTAS peripherals. Hope it helps, as I found it incredibly annoying to have the external views being controlled by the mouse axis' Cheers, Ziptie
  24. I believe it's an issue with how the Thrustmaster Cougar MFD's are labeled, in windows under game controllers / control panel. I had trouble to start, when initially setting them up and had to change labeling of MFD1 / MFD2. Both Thrustmaster MFD's function for me, in the new A10CII. Cheers, Ziptie
