  1. Can you attach a screen shot of the radio panel easily? Making an assumption that you have the MIC switch bound for the A10CII (all 4 directions of the hat switch). EDIT - Here is a link to a post in another thread, which shows a quick image of how the MIC switch should be bound, just in case: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4512827&postcount=3 Cheers, Ziptie
  2. 1. Have you possibly bound them for the "wrong" A10CII ? There is A10CII game - and A10CII real. Depending on if you have the "game mode" checked in options, this can impact which of these two categories you will need to bind.... 2. The other thought is - there are numerous lines for the boat switch, some yellow/orange, some not. This could also be an issue, if the first suggestion is not helpful to you. I am away for another week, or I'd provide a screen shot of my binds to try and help you with reference. If this doesn't help you in any way, or someone else is able to assist in the interim - I will provide those screen shots when I return. Cheers, Ziptie
  3. He is the one who guided me to being able to bind switches from the armament panel to rockers on one of my TM Cougar MFD's - so you are in capable and helpful assistance here  Cheers, Ziptie
  4. With HMCS SOI, it slaves the TGP to the HMCS LOS (make sure to CHAS with HMCS SOI prior to DMRL). Might even be possible to slave it to HMCS LOS without HMCS SOI, but I've never tried it that. EDIT - This will not actually "boresight" the TGP, it will focus the TGP at that point, and possible that once you've reached that area - the TGP will rotate to continue tracking that point in "space." Cheers, Ziptie
  5. This is pretty much my feeling as well - in the daylight, when shadows are cast over consoles/instruments, the illumination seems nearly non-existent. During sunset they start to become somewhat noticeable/useful (to me). At night, they are certainly functional, but even then, they seem under illuminated (to me). ^^ My experience is nowhere near that poor, so I should consider myself lucky.....? Wondering if somehow the "bug" or whatever you might want to call it has reappeared, similar or identical to what happened in the A10CI, when the new cockpit was introduced - where the dev/mod build actually had a difference in illumination compared to the Open Beta version that "we" were all using..... I recall this being thought as normal, but then after some more digging you discovered that your version was indeed having different illumination intensity than what we were seeing. Just a stab in the dark (pun may or may not be intended)....? Cheers, Ziptie
  6. Yes, you can bind the TGP forward and aft positions (on/off) but I believe you need to edit the .lua file to allow this to happen (not 100% on whether it requires a .lua edit - but certain that you can bind the TGP master switch). Should be found in the controls section, under the armament panel category. Cheers, Ziptie
  7. I was unable to find a way to do this, a year or two ago, and ended up purchasing the A10C I again, so I could use it on the stable, then open beta versions. I believe this was prior to the new starforce key implementation or whatever it was called. Cheers, Ziptie
  8. Solid reliability at 6nm at 12,000 feet - from what I've employed. I have recorded A/G kills with APKS from 8nm but feel that is nearly the threshold of the battery limitations of the rocket(s). Cheers, Ziptie
  9. I also observed that flight control surfaces will continue to move after the aircraft has been shutdown, like they do when the aircraft is running an utilizing hydraulics. Wasn't sure if this was the secondary flight control (cable) doing this, or if the hydraulic system isn't being impacted with the aircraft being powered down. Cheers, Ziptie
  10. Left click hold and then scroll mouse wheel forward or aft? Seems to work correctly for me. Cheers, Ziptie
  11. +1 First, it is a major disadvantage against other aircraft (and yes of course you shouldn't have your position lights on when entering combat AO) but it is. Secondly, it looks horrible like it should belong in a console "flight game" and not in DCS' flight "sim." Cheers, Ziptie

    Hornet align

Correct, after INS has aligned in either CV or GND modes - switching to NAV, and then IFA even minutes later does not require a realignment. I do however, try to move the rotary knob quickly from CV if I've aligned on the carrier, thru to IFA as I don't want to cycle a GND alignment. Not even sure if the system would initiate a GND alignment after a CV alignment has been completed - but not interested in finding out the "hard way." Cheers, Ziptie
  13. This ^^ 100% ^^ "blinking (aka "cycling" of data on the DSMS page for those stores is normal behavior). My input: When in the INV sub menu of the DSMS, entering a code deviation from the normal 1688 is correctly achieved by inputting the desired "valid" laser code and pressing load - or load symmetrical if the same weapon type is on the opposite station (3 and 9 for example) and the new laser code is desired for both of those weapon stations. You can also now achieve this directly from the maverick page, however I have not input the code like this as I am stuck in the "old school" method. Only if I am presented with a scenario where the Maverick has already gone through the initiation cycle, would I consider inputting the new desired laser code via the boat switch input method as this would be in a time sensitive / personnel sensitive environment. I agree that adjusting your seat height up will assist you in reading what has been input via the scratchpad or the CDU. There can also be an adjustment needed, even when using VR - so don't feel alone on this one. Cheers, Ziptie
  14. +1 and :megalol: Cheers, Ziptie

    Hornet align

When you select either CV or GND on the alignment sector knob, you have to “quickly” select STD HDG on the HSI. Bottom row, second or third from the left if I recall correctly. Also, make sure your parking brake is on the entire time, that is required for alignment. Cheers, Ziptie
  16. NWS button = undesignate. Cheers, Ziptie
  17. Thanks for the idea, going to assign the steer point rocker switch on the UFC to the remaining rocker on the left MFD for the A10CII. I assign those functions to my Fanatec McLaren steering whee for the Hornet and F16. Thanks again for the idea! Cheers, Ziptie
  18. All it takes is searching the forum sir. But I’ll do the work for you, don’t worry.... Snoopy has informed mods, who have in turn, informed/reported devs - to the existence of a BS OSB function when the TGP is displayed, which will return the TGP to bore sight. As a matter of fact, just two pages prior to this, one to your post, you can find the information your are looking for - specifically referenced in post #58. Cheers, Ziptie

  21. It’s been addressed in terms of not functioning, not the functionality. Speculation from me is that it will toggle max range display of the TAD - but not confirmed by an official source. Cheers, Ziptie
  22. +1 Cheers, Ziptie
  23. Guarantee this aircraft isn’t loaded to nearly the same level as what the majority of players on this game load their A10. 4 to 6 Mavericks and bombs hanging off all stations is not what is indicative of what loadouts pilots take on majority of real life missions. I get to 4 g in DCS with the A10CII with a reasonable loadout of 2 Mavericks total, 7 APKS, TGP, 184, 2 aim9, 2 cbu97/105 (or 2 gbu54 in lieu of cbu’s). I find the flight model drastically improved over the prior iteration. Again, the problem is mostly due to what people are putting on their aircraft, and the lack of reality in those loadouts Cheers, Ziptie
  24. I just have to move my throttles from off, to idle, back to off - without having to move to mil power. It is like this in every aircraft for me. Agree with the member above, synchronization of controls option is there, but typically is more of a bother than just knowing to do this when entering a cold and dark airframe. Been like this for years. Cheers, Ziptie
  25. Looks exceptionally similar to what we have. This is a dead subject IMO. Cheers, Ziptie
