With HMCS SOI, just throw a mark point out there with TMSRS, best way to do it without question. Then CDU to MP, CHFL - weapon of choice, boom rounds on target. Cheers, Ziptie

I don’t have direct photo comparisons but I’m sure they are out there. Worth a Google search, or watching a YouTube video. This one shows the exterior quite nicely at some point in the video, check it out: I wouldn’t use that video as a reference for systems status, as the creator has issues with the HMCS LOS TGP slew (which is resolvable in a setting inside the HMCS STAT page) but to be fair I believe he even says something about “not really digging into it too much.” Cheers, Ziptie

I found in the past that it wouldn’t hold path autopilot when the aircraft wasn’t trimmed properly. You should always have the aircraft trimmed properly anyways, so really shouldn’t be a big deal.... Anyways, I find the autopilot behavior to be exactly the same as the previous A10C, which is adequate considering the airframe is truly a “stick and rudder” one, compared to the Viper and Hornet for example. Well it is, when you read what I wrote above - aside from the “pave penny pod” as Snoopy correctly referenced and I couldn’t. Thanks Snoopy. Also the interior got some love. The improvements to exterior model are all over the aircraft. Several people have made videos and put them on YouTube. But in the end, it’s up to you if you want to buy it or not. At the current price of $10, it’s a no brained. At the soon to be increased price of $20, still beyond worth it, to me at least - but no point to spend $10 more by being indecisive - so I purchased it on release day, and glad I did. Just dropped 97s and 87s in CCIP, no issues whatsoever. 12,000 ft, 45* nose down, press and hold weapon release - multiple shacks. Might just be out of parameters slightly or making an error...? Works perfect here. Cheers, Ziptie

The systems are what makes it worth upgrading. The HMCS/HMIT alone is worth it, then add the APKS, laser guided rockets and GBU54 - easy choice. For $10, can’t go wrong, They’ve made the wrinkles, rivets and dents from AAR much more noticeable, along with removing the sensor/optic hanging from the right front nose area (forgot what it was called). I just tried this, and am having zero issues with it. Never had to put the TGP back to standby. SPI is STPT CHAL slave TGP to STPT SOI to HMIT/HMCS) DMSRL slave TGP to SOI (HMIT/HMCS) CHAL slave TGP back to STPT Repeat. Did this with 4 different steerpoints. All worked as it should..... not sure why some are having issues. Cheers, Ziptie

A former A10C pilot says there should be an OSB that is labeled BS (bore sight) - how could that be an unrealistic label :) Also, if you’ve switched to a different page - bore sighting the TGP really wouldn’t matter anyways, right? Cheers, Ziptie

Same. I use Oculus CV1, with stock headphones removed and use a Thrustmaster Air Force headset in lieu of them. All sounds come thru fine for me as well. Cheers, Ziptie

Is the CDU rotary selector in Flight Plan or in Mission? If it isn’t in the Mission setting, make sure it is. Should have all stored waypoints there. Works fine here, on PG, NTTR, and Syria. Haven’t tried Caucasus map yet It’s been a long time since I used auto start, but seem to remember it toggled the Flight Plan setting and not the Mission setting of that rotary knob. Right console panel, aft of the CDU, by your right hip. Cheers, Ziptie

Looks like a monocle NVG, on the same eye as the Scorpion HMCS, and it also appears the TGP display is in the lower left - as the there is a clear circular shape, yet the bottom left looks quite square. Looks like both HMCS and NVG, with the TGP display toggled on the HMCS. Cheers, Ziptie

Try to run a repair, and then try to fly it again. A few others reported a similar issue (along with a friend of mine), and was resolved by doing this. Cheers, Ziptie

Do you have the A10C I installed? If not, make sure you (each of you having issues) have the original A10C I installed as well. NineLine mentioned this is an issue if the “old” A10C isn’t installed. And as another stated, make sure you are using OpenBeta and not stable. Cheers, Ziptie

Are you unable to just change the aircraft type in the ME for the campaigns? I haven’t tried yet - but I’ve done that with a mission that was originally for the A10C I and replaced it with a Hornet.... Could have been a user download campaign though and not a paid. What degree of nose down attitude do you have when attempting? Altitude? Those are factors that play into getting the pipper / ball and chain to change for valid drop solution cue. Cheers, Ziptie

So are you talking about Night Vision Goggles? If so, you can search goggles in control binds for the A10CII (there should be toggle on/off, intensity up/down). It is controlled separately from the HMCS. You do have the ability to enable/disable the TGP overlay on the HMCS, and change the TGP from BHOT/CCD/WHOT which will allow you to see things in the respective imaging via the HMCS - but it will still only be an overlay filling the bottom left corner of the HMCS display.
