  1. A helmet mounted visor would definitely be something I would enjoy as well. Cheers, Ziptie
  2. They are exceptionally dim (like before in the A10CI). I use VR, and they are just barely visibly in highest setting. They function at night, but would be a bit nicer to have more brightness adjustment range. My .02 Cheers, Ziptie
  3. Have you tried flipping the HUD to night setting? I personally don’t like the night setting active, during night ops, as it actually seems more glaring with NVG’s. Anyway, you could try it during day ops to see if your eyes like the orange tone better than the green.... Cheers, Ziptie
  4. INER rocker switch on the UFC adjusts the brightness of the HUD. :book: Cheers, Ziptie
  5. Press CLR on UFC to clear CICU error. It happens when numbers have been input via UFC scratchpad or CDU pad, then an OSB has been depressed, resulting in an input error. As for reprogramming L / LSS. I just did this. TGP CNTL OSB, via scratchpad or CDU pad - input a valid code (1222 is not a valid code for example, first digit has to be a 1 and believe second digit has to be a 6/7 but double check documentation for that). Once your valid 4 digit code as been input via pad - press OSB button next to L or LSS. Cheers, Ziptie
  6. DMSRS changes between CEN and DET map modes with TAD SOI, centered or detached(where own ship is further aft in display). As for DMSFL and DMSAL, they have no function for me as well, despite what the flight manual states. Cheers, Ziptie
  7. I have not flown the A10CI since the II was released, but I can tell you that behavior was not present prior to II release. Cheers, Ziptie
  8. They have already acknowledged it and made a statement saying it is coming in a future update. Cheers, Ziptie
  9. If you read the link he included, it is acknowledged that there is an issue that has already been reported and should expect a fix in the future. For now, I’d recommend either reassigning your keybind to link with the UFC steerpoint rocker, when it’s fixed reassign to the CDU steerpoint switch. Cheers, Ziptie
  10. There are numerous posts about this already. Currently you need to either cycle the TGP back to standby via OSB on TGP display and then back to AG - or cycle to AA and then back to TGP. This is correct behavior according to SME(s), however there will be a BS function incoming for the TGP display to re cage to bore sight. Cheers, Ziptie
  11. After you’ve set your first mark point, or SPI, and a ready for your second SPI, with HMCS as SOI - CHAS to re cage the box to the HMCS crosshair, then create your second SPI with appropriate command (TMSRS = mark point for example). Cheers, Ziptie
  12. You can actually save it as a “new” mission, and place it in the A10CII folder, thus retaining your original mission/file for the A10C I and “gaining” the same mission for your A10CII. Cheers, Ziptie
  13. You can open the A10C missions in ME, change the aircraft to A10CII - save as “new mission” in the A10CII folder and then fly them that way. As for the training stuff, will have to wait for that to be fully accurate I suppose. Cheers, Ziptie
  14. Excellent, so we have that correctly modeled for VR. Seems like the screen mirror shows a monocle - chalk that one up as win for us 3D’ers! Thanks for the info Snoopy. Cheers, Ziptie
  15. I don’t have any issues hitting targets with 87s/97s with CCIP 3/9 consent. Maybe because that is what I have always selected since day 1 of the original A10C when I purchased, carrying over that habit to the A10CII. The only time I have an issue, is when I don’t properly input wind into the LASTE, but that has nothing to do with CCIP 3/9 consent. That’s just an error by the link from the seat to the helmet. Cheers. Ziptie
  16. Yes it should, just like NVG’s should be a monocle as well - but they aren’t they way either. In the Hornet, you can choose whether it is displayed to the left/right or both eyes. Not sure I’d really like it to be in a single eye - as things rendering in only one eye in VR (i.e the clouds and other things that they currently have an issue with) is quite brutal. My .02 Cheers, Ziptie
  17. It is changing the fall line / pipper (ball and chain) display, requiring less nose down for the pipper to be displayed. Snoopy would probably be best to explain how it all works, if he is able to do so without disclosing anything that might be classified or considered sensitive information. Either way, try it - it works. Cheers, Ziptie
  18. For orbiting, I personally use the aft position (ALT) - as you can put some roll into it, level flight, set AP and hold a near perfect orbit while heads down or using Mk I eyeballs out the canopy. Cheers, Ziptie
  19. IFCC switch to center position, change CCIP constant release to 3/9(?). Toggle IFCC switch back to original position. Now less nose down required for pipper and release. Cheers, Ziptie
  20. Glad you got it sorted. Cheers, Ziptie
  21. If you’re referencing the ones I shared - they are not mine and unable to assist with a version for formatting. NineLine shared it in a sticky and you could ask the person who made it though Cheers, Ziptie
  22. Easiest way is to jump into the aircraft and night - enable the HMCS and then you can see the FOV of the HMCS. In real life, it’s a small panel that sits in front of one eye - not a full visor display like more modern systems. Cheers, Ziptie
  23. Yes you can. Save your profile(s) for A10C. Then go into A10CII controls, select load profile, pick the file(s) you just saved - and you’re done. That’s what I did, took about 20 seconds and was flying. Easy peasy. Cheers, Ziptie
  24. For the time being, if/ when they fix it - you could DMSLL to disable HMCS/HMIT and then repeat to enable after off target. Cheers, Ziptie
  25. No, CHAS does not bore sight / cage the TGP. It is not correct behavior, hence it was removed from logic. Cheers, Ziptie
