PointCTRL - Finger Mounted VR Controller
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to MilesD's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I understand your frustration but it's what it is. It's also worthy mentioning the stated delivery time is a goal, not a fact.- 3421 replies

Problems with the TM MFD Cougers
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to sobe's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Some times DCS has a hard time understanding which MFD is which. Or maybe you change the ID via TARGET, and the default MFD 1 and MFD 2 assignments got updated and overrode your settings. -
PointCTRL - Finger Mounted VR Controller
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to MilesD's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
As far as I know, each sim interacts with the mouse in VR in a particular way. DCS is the sim the device is tuned for especifically.- 3421 replies

Any idea where to put VR zoom
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Gunfreak's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
What about placing a small wired/wireless NumPad only keyboard close to your throttle and assign thing there. It could be a cheap solution. -
[Official] SimShaker for Aviators
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to f4l0's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Oh sorry I misunderstood you. You got a 2way amp? You need from a secondary audio card from you computer, to the amp input. Then connect two shakers to the amp output -
Nice! I wish I had the knowledge for cad or 3d design. Isn't the seat a common ground with f16 seats? There are plenty of files from that seat online.

I think you need to pay simshaker sound module addon. So you can connect up to 6 shakers -

For adding pushbuttons and switches, is ordering the bit registers mandatory? I already have my cougar upgraded with the new pcb standalone and magnetic sensor

TM Cougar & CH magnetoresistive/ hall sensor kits
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to rel4y's topic in Thrustmaster
So just wondering if I'm able to add some switches at the cougar throttle with the upgrade I bought several months ago. Refuel door, battery and jfs, not much. -
I´m afraid I didn´t save the track sir. Thanks for pointing out my mistake with the clock startup.

Just flew this mission again today with Viper. I have previously flown Harrier and CF-18 versions. After reaching wp3, I no longer are asked to switch freqs. I manually insert the freq for darkstar while flying to the marshall point. I cold started the viper and might have comitted a failure, but regular clock by the right console, and DED digital clock don´t read the same time. Digital is about 2 minutes out, meaning it´s not good for push time, which according to the voiceovers, matches the analog clock. Got shot down on my way to TGT area, so I will have another run tomorrow. And mission 2 for the very first time for the weekend. Turbulence are really noticeable by the way. thank you for your work and commitment. You bring a lot of joy to my DCS experience.

I believe the BK might provide a better effect for single, powerful effects, like afterburner, touchdown... right?

Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle with Thrustmaster F18 Joystick for sale
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Pod265's topic in For Sale
You mean the Warthog stick is not for sale, unless I misunderstood your post, sir? -
I think the s shudders are some vibrations when the airframe is transonic and about to go supersonic but I might be wrong. There is a zone where even flight instruments get confusing readouts like in the tomcat. Good thing for trying effects is that you can change them on the fly while within dcs, so quick feedback. For hornet I like engine about 20/30%, didn't try the new effect which strengths the effect only while on ground though. Most effects I set to 50% and try them to feel them. Sometimes I increase speed brakes because that's something I definitely want to feel just in case u forget them opened. I uncheck damage but purely personal. Gun and dropping stores, about 80/100%. Try not to increase too much effects which are likely to apply together, like when taking off, you have : Ground roll Ground bumps Engine Afterburner Flaps Gear turbulence and up All at the same time, so they add up and at some point, saturate the signal. Fine tuning is mandatory, I like a lot feeling the wheels leave the ground even with the afterburner kicking. Also very important g load onset. Mine begins about +1.5G, I like to notice even 2g turns, some prefer no vibration till 3g, and so on. Also climb vertical till your speed is zero to check stall warning, critical for dogfighting. Have good fun testing touchdown and hook arrestor for carrier ops.. And finally, fly 30 mins or so, then turn the Jetseat off, and you will notice how empty and lacking the sim feels!!!! It's an awesome inmersion booster!!
