[Official] SimShaker for Aviators

Following, because it´s ofe of the modules where the creators worked very close with SSA author. I have never tried then landing gear effect while in f2 view to check the timing. Is that single player or MP? I can confirm wing movement works on my side. -

I think for most Oculus users, the biggest bridge to cross is the software after all nightmares we read about SteamVR and WMR -
Piece of art, good luck with the selling.

VKB T-Rudder Pedals - Review

I´m a rare case, I don´t fly warbirds. I have a TM Warthog throttle slider for brakes. For airframes with differential brakes like C-101, it´s not an issue either. From my experience, again. I didn´t even bother with trying the virtual brakes trick. For warbirds I have read both sides of the fence, doable and enjoyable, and painful and moving into other options, mostly MFG Crosswinds. -
You definitely would need a China hat in the throttle. And the thing to choose MFDs for SOI when doing long press, don´t remember the exact name. I wouldn´t bother with Boat switch.

I built at work 2 L-shape aluminium brackets, so the small side attach to the vertical side of the mount, and the other side is 140x140mm to attach the MFDs to it. Using two of the predrilled holes of the vertical side of the desk mount. For the third MFD, I made and angled piece so the MFD rests right after the two bolts which attach the desk mount to my Virpil base, and the upper part meets the vertical desk mount beams. The two upper MFDs aren´t rock solid at all, they move backwards when I press buttons. The aluminium sheet is very thin and there is a lot of "arm" when you press the buttons farther from the center. For me it´s not an issue at all, some sqn mates however, found this terribly annoying. Most of them bought Monstertech alike rotable attachments, they are a nice piece of engineering.

I understand your point for advanced options but at the same time I can´t help thinking it takes literally seconds to choice a profile before joining a server or using a light SP mission or heavy SP mission. the Marianas free map is a testbed for ground objects and scenery, on my virtual sqn we have found good usage for Farillion bombing range competitions, carrier ops and we are trying to set an OceanSky air-to-air guns only PvP arena so new guys don´t even have to buy a map to join the competitions. -
Thank you for sharing these, saving them for later.

But it´s impossible with DCS being a sandbox. Some guys could fly with no clouds, flat shadows and 10 ground units, others full weather Syria full budget Liberation MP. ED has offered customized graphic options besides the several default ones for ages. I have two, a regular one and another one for Marianas, with all shadows to flat. -

Is simple, they are able to develop a software that puts a powerful system down on its knees. They test it with, like I said, compromises. I'm sure a big % of users have better equipment than coders and developers. Not to mention mp arenas and scripting tax the performance a lot. Imagine if they provide a software which runs a 140fps with a certain visual quality, the forums would be lit by users asking for more features "because there is so much headroom..." But I think it's the way it is with legacy 2d complex sims with VR versions. Xplane and dcs come to my mind, you can't really compare with vtol vr performance. -

yeah, details, we need details!! my 3 year old rig sure thing better handles small MP missions than entering massive, high scripted PVP arenas. anyway I think VR adds SO much to the flight simulation, it´s worth the hassle of finetuning settings and stuff. -

VR happiness is about making compromises. By the way I have played games which manage VR way worse than DCS. SW Squadrons or Asetto Corsa Competizione, for instance. -
I have a similar room. Iwould strongly recommend desk mounts, althoug they might be tricky to fit that particular table. I also noticed you attended the same Cable Management University than I did.
