I would gladly take it, sir.

Great projects sir! How did you create the ejection command? By arduino coding or dcs lua?
-
Sure it is, I flew that way decades ago when warthog was the only hifi module available. I think you need to know the resolution of the monitor, the size of every mfd display and figure it out the location of the initial x, y coordenate for the second mfd display. Unless im mistaken you need to edit the monitor.lua file Sorry I can't be more helpful

Creating a new "Ejection" command
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Ala12Rv-Tundra's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
My plan was not using any software but that plan is gaining traction. Thank you! -
Hi there, I´m building a ejection handle, using a cheap USB encoder. Currently it´s not working because I need to activate the switch 3 times in order to eject, I guess because of some hardcoding for that DCS command. I´m wondering if using LUA I can create a new command, called "ejection" or whatever where it is not mandatory a 3-time action. Plan B is using some software like joystick gremlin to create a macro with the 3 time action.

Any plans to add a refuel effect for A-10C like F-16? -
I also use a similar device, could you share a link with more info? PM so the thread keeps on topic.

What surprised me for expensive is Honeywell, omg https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/272618-full-switch-upgrade-for-thrustmaster-warthog-throttle-otto-cutler-hammer-honeywell-mason/#comment-4736931 The thread I Mentioned before

That´s a good start sir!!

I think NKK and Otto are reputated brands for switches. What´s the stick you want to mod? Around the forum there is a thread about some guy massively modifiying a TM stick with mil-spec buttons

that investment is too much when it comes to new, quick eveloping technologies. I´d rather spend 400-600 euro every 2 years.

TrackIR 4 vs TrackIR 5
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Toni Carrera's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Being honest, with your current equipment, in 2021, I don´t think spending any more on TrackIR is worth it. The twitchy behaivour might be adressed by curves or deadzones, but I´m certain you already tried that way. -
[Official] SimShaker for Aviators
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to f4l0's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Oh I feel you, that jold when spawning then must be the aircraft falling into its wheels. Maybe a temporary solution is turning the effect OFF, spawning, and before beginning taxi, alt+tab and activating the effect again. -
So true, kc130 is great for first tries

Im thankful this community share these things

Pay close attention because unless Im mistaken, Andre was facing several personal issues, hence deliveries were being delayed. You´d better ask him personally. -
Vibration/simshaker feedbacks ?

Maybe, I just assumed that, I never bought SimShaker Wings software. I bought IL-2 several months ago but never installed it. I wish I had more leisure time. -

Vibration/simshaker feedbacks ?
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to dureiken's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
A massive benefit of Jetseat vibrators is that they are placed very close to your body, hence they don´t need to be very powerful or big in size, contrary to shakers which are bigger and even depending on external amps, and more expensive as you noticed. If you are considering adding shakers, a key point is isolation. You want all the energy the shaker creates directed to your body rather than disperse all along the structure, seat chassis, side consoles and floor. Long story short, the better the isolation, the smaller the required shakers for an equivalent amount of feeling. Seat cars are built with confort in mind so they have think padding, that´s why many users choose racing seats, it´s a matter of balance. With these factors, I think you choosing the Jetseat is the right solution. For using the Jetseat with IL-2, it´s mandatory you pay for Andre´s Simshaker Wings software. For DCS, you can use free Simshaker for Aviators, or again Simshaker Wings software For racing games, you can use free SimHub software, or Andre´s Simshaker Wheels software. I tried to put it clear, don´t hesitate to ask more questions if you need it. That´s a very decent setup and man cave, sir, enjoy it!! -
Vibration/simshaker feedbacks ?
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to dureiken's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
yes they are, maybe you could search the web for some users selling theirs from USA and get a discount for second hand units. I don´t fly unless the seat is on. I hope that helps you making a decision Whatever path you choose, jetseat or shakers, you are making the right decision. The feedback they provide is amazing. Also bear in mind both options are compatible to each other. Also make sure you feed them with DCS telemetry instead of just sound waves activation. My advice for shakers though, install a pair number of units so you can feel the effects on stereo mode. A single unit just doesn´t cut it and falls short. -
Sim Shaker / game trix seat effects
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to markturner1960's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I´m certain it has to do with the fabric, padding and chassis material. Also consider you sat directly over the exciters with jetseat and most likely now they are farther from your skin. Did you also installed the buttkicker from your signature into the new cockpit? -
