Same only buying on a confirmed release date given, but thats only if I have money left from my DCS yearly budget, Sinia map next I think and then maybe the F4E so funds will be trickling away

So we got a release date comment by Razbam yesterday, but still no date given to those who pre purchased, typical smoke and mirrors it seems.

I'm seeing this with trees and shadows in N2, its horrible.

Just had my first fly on N2 instant action free flight in MT VR and used my default setting's for all maps since MT come out, at times I'm down to 33FPS for this map, it runs pretty bad in VR for me compared to all others sitting in the high 88s 13900K 4090, 64did DDR4. Ill check the civ traffic option next and make a mission with it off.

Ill happily give the new in game voice a try again but so far every time we have tried to use it as a group in the past its been very mixed results (reported in the bugs setion) hopefully it's better this next update. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

At the end of the day with all the hype and YT previews of the F15, Sinai, Normand 2, F4, Corsair, Koiwa & the other modules we have been shown, in the end it will come down to everyone's personal wealth in these tough times as there is a lot less $$$ to go around today than there was 3 months ago. If they all drop in the next 3 months then I my self will need to make choices on what I get as I cant afford all of them at once as it will be a lot of $$$, Choices will need to be made, luckily the N2 map will only cost me $10 so I will get that when it drops, the rest I'm not really bothered to much about all the hype this time and dont really care if a module drops or not

Found a work around to no green cursor in VR Use Scratchpad, this gives you the white dot when you press L/L and use that instead of the green circle which doesn't show in VR, move the white dot and hit Add Waypoint with the VR shortcuts Only time you need to ALT TAB now is when you press CTRL+SHIFT +T to send the waypoints, if your using the AH64 it asks if your the CPG or Pilot and you need to select one so have to Alt Tab, if the dev added a option to pre set that as a drop down menu it would be perfect for VR use. Great program thanks for the work on it.

It certainly flys different from any other DCS helo, only today I was at about 70knots hit right rudder and it put me into a uncontrolled sideways loop that lucky enough I had enough height to pull out from, never done that before and took me totally by surprise

Hi if you have the Buttkicker Gamer 2 or Pro and have the Haptic connect software, it now supports DCS via the USB input, I have downloaded it and configured the software sliders and made it so DCS telemetry is enabled but im not getting any haptics. Anyone else tried it yet and managed to get it to work Cheers

Thanks for replying, I got the Capture F10/F11 View and Capture Coordinates working (no idea how) and get the beep the last part that's eluding me is Send to Aircraft no matter what keys I assigned for it, and also remove any corresponding key in DCS, I can alt tab and press the Send to Aircraft button and it works.

Bugger the bloom bug for VR switching between cockpit view and F10 wasn't fixed :(

Strange that this patch isn't releasing the Normandy 2 map as noted by Bignewy on Discord, hopefully the Sinai map will come then, we have had loads of previews of both maps now surly 1 or the other should be dropping soon with so much media being put out about them by Youtubers. I'm hoping the patch will fix the invisible plane bug that only shows the weapons, the cockpit bloom bug when switching between the cockpit and F10 and many more MT updates/fixes So glad I didnt pre-order the F15E either as that seems a while away, the whole Razbam F15 pre-order debacle as I would call it, has put me off pre ordering anything now unless a confirmed release date is given with it.

Even though the maps old tech it really would benefit from the new lighting, I mean its still the main map you get with DCS so its not dead, why not show it off at its best it can be.

I'm tying this for the first time and I can get the ctrl+shft+u to set the start capture mode, but the ctrl+t to capture the waypoint does nothing not even a beep, what am i doing wrong. Cheers

It doesn't matter if a rgr beep isn't in real life, the DCS comms needs some thing to distinguish the comms has finished, nearly every squad/group uses both Discord and SRS and there is noticeable difference between the 2 when using them so you can tell what the voice chat is from and work out what's what, if you used Discord and DCS comms there is no difference and you cant tell if its general chat in Discord or a call over the modules radio, and that is why NO one uses it.

No one using it that I know off the lack of development or needed features has meant its not being used, with SRS and DIscord still being used heavily, and I agree a RGR beep should have been implemented right from the start to aid in its take up by squads.

You don't mention what DCS is running off, NVME or SSD, my mate had really bad lag spike issue when MT dropped, was literally about to give up, moved his install to a different drive and it all went away.

I find it amazing we can have a created discussion topic about a news letter and ask valid questions regarding the news letter to community managers but these can go unanswered.

@NineLine I just noticed you are offering a discount after a user has done a 14 day trail of an module, is there any info on how the discount is applied, I checked the FAQ and couldn't see any such info. Cheers
