Hi Aleks. You really should try the F-5 with the non linear option on. For some reason it just makes sense that the limit of your virtual stick travel always corresponds with the physical one. It makes BFM much more intuitive when you dont have to worry about trim while fighting.
I really hope that you will consider this option for this all time great module.
Cheers
Here is what i do:
1: Enter a BVR mode.
2: Lock a target.
3: Switch to guns.
4: Undesignate using undesignate/NWS
5: Switch back to BVR mode.
Radar axis are now swapped and elevation (now azimuth) is frozen. Radar axis swap.trk
Sorry i cant help you. As frustrating as it might be, that is what you have to work with atm.
Maybe going from auto to manual might do the trick, but im not sure.
If you go RWS before using ACM modes, you probably wont see this. It's not a thing I have come across, TWS or RWS.
Might be because of elevation and auto in TWS that you get this issue.
It's a roll rate limiter on the stick. On the real thing it's a detent that you have to push through to reach full deflection in roll axis, but in game there is a button for that. It's not a button in the pit.
Call up control overlay with Rctrl+ enter and you will notice tick marks halfway on the roll axis.
It's called something like ''stick limiter'' in key mapping.
It's the TWS function that's broken, not the 120. Fire at one and the missile will guide just fine. If in the F-18 you have a secondary, you need to constantly switch between them using the undesignate button to update missiles flightpath.
