  1. There seems to be a bit of confusion on how to properly set up bomb fuzes since the 16 January Open Beta release. This video is provided to help shed some light. Thanks and have fun!

  3. Based on your image, you are not using the current Open Beta.
  4. For a long time we've said that a DC was more a matter of when rather than if. It is only until last year that we found a talented engineer to create "war simulation" in which the DC operates. It was only last year that we announced that it is now in development. This is a very high-priority item for us with good progress. However, this is a highly complex undertaking and it will take time, but certainly not "5 years". Once we have interesting and significant news to pass along on this task, we certainly will. Thanks
  5. Mission of the Week This week’s mission comes on the heels of the HARM with SP mode release into the Open Beta this week. This is a standard Instant Action mission in the Caucasus map to practice using the HARM against a variety of targets. This will later be integrated into the game. Thanks and have fun! Caucasus FA-18C AGM-88C HARM.miz
  6. It’s in work.
  7. Operation of the HARM in SP mode is quite simple: Master Arm Switch to ARM A/G Master Mode ON Select HARM from the TAC/Stores page Press the HARM Sequence/RAID/FLIR FoV switch or to cycle the ground-radar emitters on the EW page / EW HUD / Azimuth Indicator (aka RWR scope) RESET will automatically select the highest threat emitter Press and HOLD the weapon release button or [right ALT + SPACEBAR] Shout MAGNUM at the top of your lungs Some notes: HARM range is highly dependent on launch altitude and speed. A high and fast launch at 45k MSL at 1.3M will allow engagement out to 80 nm. When in SP mode, no target range is provided. Have a good understanding of where the target may be before you launch that HARM. Some advanced SAM systems can shoot down a HARM. It is not a magic bullet. Most of all, have fun and enjoy the SAM payback!
  8. Correct
  9. There is no "warm up time".
  10. The large circle was inaccurate and removed.
  11. Although the Hornet has more skins than any DCS World module, we are still adding more. Later this month we’ll be adding: VFA-97 Warhawks VFA-192 Golden Dragons NSAWC Blue Splinter The first two will be for a new Hornet, Persian Gulf campaign being developed by Bunyap and I.
  12. Please provide a track, looks okay here.
  13. Correct, and this is why PB will come last of the modes. We first need to create a new waypoint systems that consists of a database of 60 points, from which they can be assigned to sequences, A/A waypoints, and pre-planned/pre-briefed target points. Part of a larger MUMI mission load task.
  14. Only in pullback.

  16. DCS: F/A-18C Hornet – AGM-88C HARM SP Mode Introduction Next week we plan to release the AGM-88C HARM with the Self Protect (SP) mode. Soon after we will follow that up with the Target of Opportunity (TOO), Pre-Briefed (PB), pullback modes. TA Mode

No, that would not be realistic for the Hornet. You'll have to wait for the Mud Hen for that. The Hornet has a Terrain Avoidance (TA) mode, but that is very different that TFR.

    TA Mode

Sure, but that is not TFR which would look ahead to adjust altitude based on approaching terrain, not just what is directly below.
  19. You are using an old version then.
  20. Please feel free, it's a non-protected mission to do what you like with. There is already an S-3 tanker BTW.
  21. Sorry, but no. In the current version you start 60 nm from the target and 40 nm from the lead MiG flight. That is plenty of time/distance. Hardly "a few miles".
  22. No problem here. The only issue could be is if you failed to deal with the MiGs and they reached the SEAD flight behind you.
  23. Magnum!
  24. Good stuff! Order one for the next batch.
  25. Please update to the current version.
