You guys made screenshots, you have the full package of Nevada, so please make a zip/arj (.arj is smaller/more compressed afaik) of your Nevada files and upload as an individual torrent and seed please for the community.
You don't need to upload the bin files, we need the folders only what you see in your \DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\_downloads\Mods\terrains\Nevada folder. (or in DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods\terrains\Nevada folder, what is maybe better)
If we put the downloaded files to the main _downloads folder (where torrent and http files go by the updater)
and after that if we restart the downloader it will see the completed files and will install it.

with a converter or terrain source files it's about few weeks only to bring up to the current Black Sea/Caucasus map level/detail
to bring up to edge/dcsw2.0 is another (short) story

if you are curious, i can tell you that some talented modders and 3d model makers got this nice turbosquid max model, made the appropriate animations, added some light polys and exported into edm format. Nothing serious :D

my in-sim gui options/settings are totally different than what i see in the options.lua.

as i see this is an nvidia related problem unfortunately - several nvidia users wrote that low frame rate thing
i have 60+ FPS with my amd gfx card when i change to those new wip clouds (same FPS with old clouds), sorry

however the current DCSW beta is buggy
in the last non-beta (1.2.16) we had back-faced polys visible as well (by material settings in the model file ) but not in the current beta
materials not perfect in beta that's why we can see many models wrong (ejected pilot model under the cute - chute is only one sided - as the mig-29s brake chute too for example)
beta modelviewer uses wrong in-sim materials too
not yet, low on contast imho (iv got 50-60+ FPS with those new clouds)
and civil vehicles on the roads sometimes visible through clouds as dark spots (i know: still wip)
but
there is a new (buggy) animated/waving grass effect too
