SPOILERS FOR MISSION 3 After completing the CAP portion of the mission at FL240, I received the clearance to RTB. Turning back toward the carrier TACAN, I think I triggered the "Mi-8 BRAA 065 etc.....go VID it" script for a second time. I happily flew off in that direction and searched half of the Black Sea until I ran out of fuel. Looking at the Tacview file afterwards, I found out that there indeed were no additional helicopters in my AO.

Give me an F-104 with the full ZELL system and I'd buy it on Day 1.

I've been wondering the same. They posted a screenshot of the new (old) RWR on 21 September to Facebook, but that's all I've seen.

There is an additional bug in this mission. When starting at Ramat David, the player jet (114) spawns inside of 100. I tried placing F-14s in the mission editor on all these parking spots (31-37), but I couldn't replicate the error outside of this mission.

I am having a similar issue. Loadout is 2x AIM-9Ms, 2x AIM-7MHs, 2x drop tanks, and 4x Mk-82 Snakeye. -A2G selected -Master Arm on -Order Jester to select MK-82 SNAKEYE -Order Jester to select ripple quantity of 28 -Order Jester to select ripple time of 10ms Attempt to drop bombs in Computer Pilot, but no release. I've found that Jester does not always change from Mk-82L to Mk-82H (and vice versa) despite you selecting the only available option in the appropriate weapons select menu.

Just snagged the tabletop Mk3 Gunfighter w/ F-14 grip and the Mk4 Rudders, super excited! I might add on the small base and an extension later, we'll see.

Same issues with McAfee. Adding DCS to the list of excepted applications isn't fixing the problem.

Same thing happening to me. I have to go into the antivirus, restore the file, and disable the file scanner to boot DCS. Pretty annoying.

I had the same issue. Turns out my antivirus thinks DCS.exe is a virus and is automatically deleting it out of the bin folder. I have to restore the file and disable the file scanner before trying to boot DCS. Adding it to the list of exceptions doesn't seem to fix the issue.

I've been planning on grabbing a dedicated ground attacker (Hog, Harrier, or Viggen), I think this update just tipped the scale. Between the quality of the Viggen and Tomcat, I'm possibly going to become Heatblur-exclusive...

As far as I know.........the only F-14 squadron that wore Ferris was VF-1. Anybody have more info on that?

I'm hoping for Ferris too! I personally like Scheme 2 better than Scheme 1.

I don't really understand the relationship between Leatherneck and Heatblur, especially as it relates to the MiG-21. Can anyone help me out?
