hey flappie. in the free flight mission caucuses, there is a line of t-72s on the road at a WP and other vehicles that i cannot see except TV (f-16). there are some artillery that are just randomly shooting. they can be seen with IR.

are you using English Windows? maybe the nomenclature you have is different? in English you can search in Windows for graphics settings. then search for nvidia control panel.

i totally agree that the FLIR is hosed. i am placing my bet that ED will claim this video is modern tech that was not available in the 80s. but my own experience with thermal imaging from that time, the tech worked much better than "correct-as-is" DCS does. unfortunately they will not consider my testimony because there is no evidence. any video or other proof from that period would be a breach of clearances we all had. pictures or documentation was / is highly illegal. when the plywood targets popped up on range, they were easily seen. they got their heat merely by being horizontal before pop-up and gathered radiant energy.

I have windows 10 and a 3090. I have both windows setting and ncp setting configured as you do. I do not think they interfere with each other.

Could be a lot of things. Disk going bad. Permissions issue. AV blocking access. Not likely a DCS issue.

hello. try this link. you need to reset the autologin value. then once the info clears you can go back to the way you were. something is corrupted.

I believe the change log means all missions are supposed to load faster. Not totally sure of this but one specific mission loading faster is weird to have. What's the point?

i made a shortcut to the "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe" though remember to run "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS_updater.exe" when you want to update. unless you update another way.

i do know from reading other posts, some missions get whacky in a new version of DCS. its possible this is the problem. good luck.

hello again. i am a n00b in ME but learning. i see only one thing. the most southern unit has Advanced Waypoint Action. the rest do not. null

i noticed something today. i ran ST to get the latest version. DCS started in the background (chrome was forefront. i had to click in the DCS windows to make it come forward. possibly because the update dialog is forefront. dunno. then i ran MT and it started forefront and stayed that way. clicking in my other monitor minimized DCS. clicked on icon in taskbar and the DCS came forward again. this seems to be related to the full screen questions. i use GSYNC and getting good performance.

the screenshots do have some jagged edges but nearly imperceptible. i attached mine to see if there is a difference. there might be something in driver settings. i believe this is AA settings but you have that covered. null

i am barely an ME novice so probably not a lot of help. but it is best to post up the mission. i think any of the experts will want to see so they can help.

I have no problems so far with MT. Performs well and quite better IMO. My question is how do I monitor the performance? I have been using Task Manager and Performance Monitor. I hear people say gpu / cpu limited... Is the tool to do this essentially the CTRL+Pause/break key? I tried this and get neither indication of GPU/CPU limiting. Thanks.

DCS thinks you have a 1TB pagefile. Way too much. Check your settings. And make sure you have it on the fastest drive and the drive has plenty of space.

hello. glad you are having success. you can open most of the files with notepad or wordpad that come with windows. i use a log viewer. you can color-code. important line will pop out when you are reviewing. unfortunately the logs can have a lot of gibberish in them.

hi flappie. hope you are well. honestly i have not noticed this lately. when i was seeing it, only briefly. i will still try to get a track if it does happen again.

@venger welcome to forums. not sure if this will fix your issue but you may be running out of memory. Page File https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/196924-page-file-tip-by-mustang/ make both boxes 32,768 if this does not fix, come back and we can check other items.
