It has happened to me before and then it does not happen. Random if you like. You could try changing Oculus shortcut to run as administrator which stops the software starting when you run DCS. Saves on CPU cycles. Also stop any mobo software like AI suite running. That causes a regular drop in FPS which is constant until I stop AI suite and Ccleaner running in the task tray

Each tile of that quality textures that we use in Ortho4Xp would require us all to have several Terrabytes of HDD/SDD. Your blooming crazy. Also what kind of hardware could render that with planes, ships and tanks. We need a NASA supercomputer.

I payed 29.99 in 2012 for CA and later in the sales I picked up a copy for my son for 5$. Wait or pay what they are asking. If we went back to bartering I could trade rabbits like I used too for my beer money;)

If we don't get an official response then I suggest following the forums. I know when we got 2.0 and NTTR the forums where full of gleeful people with fibre who had it before some of us could even log on to the torrents. I know it will be a little late for buying new SSD's but there may be helpful info regarding filesize etc :thumbup:

The other side of the coin. I have used bonus points on modules that I may not have bothered with otherwise. I guess in total it must equate to about 60$ I don't understand how it works completely but its better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick ;)

TBH Project lassoo is for people with underpowered rigs. If you can get good FPS in DCS with no judders or stutters then just consider yourself blessed and enjoy your machine;)

Sure I imagine it will be capable of more, but have you got a PSU capable of delivering a stable current? What voltage is it when your running this overclcok?

Group tuning. DCS uses 2 cores 1 for audio IIRC and the other for game. Also it feels snappier when all cores are running the same speed. Possibly with the CPU lassoo app you could tie it to the fastest cores ?

In the screenshot that box you show is not full screen, scroll down to the bottom it has Save, load and default buttons

My max temps running DCS are 60C on watercooling. 70 is fine for gaming, I would not like to run 70C 24/7 but its well within its thermal limits. You can load that 5.0 Ghz overclock for gaming or other applications that would benefit and go back to default when your done. Then you get a cool system and an overclock when required (also better for the planet unless your on Solar) Just click on the overclocked profile and load it, when finished you can then reset. AFAIK the o/c will stay even after reboot unless you default it back in AI suite

So your best is 5.0Ghz on 3 cores and 4.9 on 3 cores. Just be careful of your temps. I would not like to hit 79C too often. Nice enough overclock. If you desired you could get higher playing in the BIOS. Bitmaster will be invaluable if you do :)

Yes mate :) It reboots first off then runs your system up till it wont go any higher. Good luck let us know how high you reach :)

The blurb says you can overclock this board It will run hot though I would assume. What kind of cooler do you have? If it is stock you have little room for manoeuvre Also this Check your instal disk and you should find the software to make this happen.
