  1. I fly the huey almost exclusively and never yet had engine trouble due to high temps. Pulling the guts out of a huey sling loading in 30 degrees C yesterday had no ill effects. That was in 1.5.7OB
  2. I made a video explaining how it was done. It may be the same still.
  3. Its what I found too. Good job Devs :)
  4. Thanks for this :)
  5. Good news :)
  6. Just a tip which sounds counter intuitive until you try it. lift collective momentarily before you decelerate as this will change the attitude of the chopper and lift the nose slightly, then lower collective keeping the nose up without increasing height. Taught to me by an RL AH-64 pilot so I guess he should know:)
  7. I am strongly leaning toward the i5 8600K but I won't go down that path until at least a revision 2 Z370 board with enough ports and slots for my requirements. How does DCS like the new Athlon chips?
  8. I have been doing it this way since the Hip first made release, I thought it was the obvious way to go tbh:) I sometimes still sit at no. 3 position and twiddle manually :music_whistling: ;)
  9. Its not working in W10 64Bit for me even with XP settings applied in compatability. Any ideas?
  10. Thanks Chris, I missed that as I have another folder called JsAvionics which also has to do with the Garmin. Hope to rejoin you guys by the middle of the month :)
  11. Where is it? I have just looked and failed :music_whistling:
  12. Dunno whether these will help or not Leave the trim to default and trim in small steps. It is difficult with a short stick and a stiff spring will also be detrimental to your ability to hold things steady. Keep practising and don't be afraid to come back with any questions:) Good luck
  13. Same story different source http://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/14202/usaf-reveals-mysterious-crash-occurred-just-days-before-two-a-10s-crashed-in-same-area
  14. Have you installed it via the module manager?
  15. I wonder does anyone know how long the flight engineer moves seat during sling load operations?
  16. I am just getting this now. Good to see Gospadin and Imp on the case, look forward to learning all about this device and its uses from you two
  17. Just had this alert on my phone and came to share but you beat me to it :) https://theaviationist.com/2017/09/05/during-a-csar-mission-we-integrated-with-puma-helicopters-and-su-25-attack-planes-a-10-pilots-recount-their-warthog-experiences/
  18. Wow thanks Wolle this is great:)
  19. Try the dial on the armaments panel IIRC the burst length is adjustable for the pods just next to the switch for changing between Guv rockets and UKP
  20. RAF photo competition results http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/in-pictures-41107231
  21. I took a stanley knife and a saw to my chair to get the inset. I have never seen any for sale, but if your neat and tidy and careful then its possible to make a nice job yourself :)
  22. I have a video where I set up various beacons/broadcasts to fly to using the various systems
  23. Can you confirm the fps hit that happened with any MSAA or AF enabled has been fixed then ? 8x MSAA dragged me down to single digits before the last patch but 1:huh:
  24. I think I might revert to a PD of 1.3 for the time being and see if I can get smooth gameplay. I recently reset everthing to start from scratch with the latest update and every time I think I have it just right I get a freeze or stutters.
