  1. Never one to normally complain but really, I certainly dont want to tweet or FB stuff from these forums. Are ED being paid for using this software or benefit from twitter or FB?
  2. LMAO, we just got an updated engine, its a marathon not a sprint as they say.
  3. I run a lot of settings that the opening poster has but I have 2xMSAA Civ traffic low,all sliders to the right and have better visuals than the test video. Great you have a 3080 I am jealous but some thing is wrong. It is plugged in and your not running on motherboard graphics? thats been done before :) I would make sure you have no driver issues, BIOS up to date etc. You have a big responsability as the owner of new tech to work it out and keep us informed Thanks
  4. If polychop can do it with the gazelle then I hope ED can do it with the hind, and retrofit the huey and hip too, :)
  5. I bought the Mi8-MTV2 in early access along with the huey, never realised it was 7 years since release but I figure I have got my moneys worth several times over with both modules. New models, glass cockpits where applicable and multicrew, I would pay for that again :)
  6. Just bought this software and voiceattack, its going to be a gamechanger for me thank you. My accent is a struggle for my PC but we are learning
  7. Goes without saying but its nice to hear though. Well done ED
  8. Nice to see you have kept your diplomatic head all these years mate. I despaired reading the previous 10 pages of posts :) Looking forward to the update thanks for the information
  9. You have to select the correct radio on the rotary to be able to transmit over it :)
  10. I hope to try this later today when the wife goes to see her horses. Cheers mate
  11. They do have real life Hip pilots on their development team. Check out his videos from a few years ago. He makes sling loading look especially easy and some of the stuff he did I will never hope to replicate and I have about 400 hours flying the Mi-8 in DCS. I dont think these guys would allow any deviation from the real world flight model unless it was a game engine limitation:)
  12. It does take some slowing down because its so light and pointy, but not so you overfly the runway. Once it gets dirty, flaps and landing gear it takes some throttle to keep the speed up. Also it needs trim nose up a lot to keep the AOA needed for touchdown. Plus it has a chute for stopping because the brakes are non existant at high speeds :) Happy flying its a great little jet:thumbup:
  13. Sad news indeed Condolences to his friends and family
  14. I think DCS really likes the higher clock speeds. It should be a relatively easy option to get a 7700k and ram up the speed :)
  15. Thanks very much. Shame I cant rep you for your work
  16. The only issue I get is shimmering. It runs very well on my machine and can look stunning depending on time of day etc :) I dont regret buying the map at all
  17. Great plane. Amazing in VR Thanks for the nice surprise
  18. Radio menu is mouseclickable May have to turn it on in settings but it works for me
  19. Agree totally mate. Very immersive plane in all respects :)
  20. No problems in VR for me other than long loading times and occasional freeze I am loving it :)
  21. It looks from the video, the RIO and Pilot will have seperate entries the same way you could map stuff for example A10C Sim or A10C game. I hope so anyway :)
  22. It seems its the way these forums are going, seems like it can be any subject someone will just go on a rant or be rude to a fellow poster and now we cant even give negative rep to the obnoxious.
  23. Hi its fine, I never let go of the stick as the springs would wobble when springing back. I will try with the heavier springs but it is fine atm. I have had to add a curve on each axis of 30 as the base is so precise it magnifies all inputs and a deadzone of 6
  24. I just got my warbrd base a couple of days ago. I am using a 125mm extension with the base mounted on my wheelstand Pro. No clearance issues yet though I do use vr and am quite a distance from my desk. I can still reach it to manipulate my keyboard
