Any new map information would be cool, PG is feature complete as are all of the other maps.
With the Tomcat, Hornet, and Harrier all released, and the upcoming modern modules, I feel like maps are really the place where DCS is lacking content.
Although it's cool to be getting an F-18 campaign, it's rather disappointing that its identical (your words) to a campaign that's already been done twice. Any discount if weve already purchased the F-5 or F-15 campaign?
Although I can't comment on whether its more fuel efficient or not, I have landed the Hornet with a single engine (right out) on the boat a few times.
Its really surprising how well the Hornet actually behaves with only one side burning, there isn't too much adverse yaw, a bit of rudder trim and you can make a windy Case III with little issues.
Also, theres a certain thrill that comes with entering the downwind with less than 300lbs
Dont be silly, RAZBAM couldn't stand having less than five projects on their plate at a time. Hopefully we see some news on this module soon, seems like it's been months since theres been any info...
Are you talking real world here or in game?
Real World you'd be hard pressed to find a time when a Ready/Alert jet isn't ready to launch off the cat within five minutes.
In game you can likely get the jet up in the air in about three minutes. This is without rearm and neglecting CV alignment and going for IFA instead.
I've had the wire checkmark come up but haven't received a grade yet.
The system also doesn't seem to like it when you bolter and shows the path of your first approach, and doesn't seem to update with each pass.
Okay I see the issue, it's a simple syntax error. I had this issue and then fixed it. Appears that some people got one version and others got a different.
I hope to have an update this week, hopefully that rectifies the issue
