  1. yeah roger that. in the meantime I've learned a lot about radios while flying your wonderful TEW3 campaign, and so far, I've had zero issues with the radios since mission 3. I think if the wrong "FM" tag hit me later in the campaign, there wouldn't have been any worries with that. I'm not done with the missions yet and I'm excited to see what's next. thanks a lot @baltic_dragon for giving us such precious moments with DCS! Can't wait to check out your other campaigns.
  2. Just a shot in the dark, but could you use Win+P before you shut down WMR portal software to select which screen should be active or mirrored?
  4. When you have the black screen, are you still able to see the Win+P menu to choose your monitor(s) quick setup? edit: I have similar hardware, and I also turn the power for my G2 off and leave the USB cable plugged, but I shut down WMR portal and wait till it is realy off before I shut the power off. Have you tried this?
  5. +1 love the campaign so far, but it would be very much appreciated to have the "FM/AM"s (correctly) in the briefings and kneeboards. (stable DCS user here) edit: is there a way to get e.g. 144.3 and 142.3 of Mission 3 with any other radio than ARC-210? I did not hear "Beholder" or "Hunter 1-1" at the briefed frequencies with the ARC-210. edit2: Tried again and finally heard Hunter 1-1 on 144.3 AM with the ARC 210.
  6. I see. So I have misunderstood your question. Sorry
  7. That"s for throttles with a hardware detent at idle. So you can go beyond idle (backwards to cut off) without losing a part of the range of the throttle lever(s).
  8. @Dangerzone pls stay with us here. Seems to me we need people who know about this kind of 2FA. I ask myself how authenticators can work on several devices or systems? Does the second authenticator need a code from the fist initially to start working? Or is it enough to log into the account with the first authenticator and establish the second from there? edit: just read about WinAuth, and it seems you can note the initial secret key and put it in as many WinAuth's as you want to. Can someone with knowledge confirm this?
  9. Yeah, I meant after the trial period.
  10. Is it possible to disable 2FA for an ED account (after you had enabled it of course)? If yes, is it possible to activate it for a free trial and deactivate it afterwards (edit: after the free trial period)? The least thing I have in mind is to help bad guys to harm ED but maybe this 2FA is not so helpful as one might think.
  11. Could you please provide a short track replay of an airstart with this issue?
  12. And the first Viper picture shows something like a drag shoot container under the stabilizer, the second don't. can someone please elaborate? edit: just found the answer: It's an FA-95 mod, like the caption says https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/files/3332970/
  13. Thank you. With this information and the fact that I haven't seen any placards / ID plates with Me 109, for me the real name still is Bf 109. With some confusion that those Swiss documents let arise. OP's statement that "the real name is Me 109" is not proven yet by the info here in this thread imho. Edit: And even with plaques that say "Me 109" it would mean there were two names. The real name would be neither one nor the other alone.
  14. Well, there are a lot ID plates with "BF 109" to be found in the WWW, but this one shows that not all 109's had a "Bf" tag, and with the documents above one could say, that the Swiss might have had no doubt that they bought "Me 109"s. On the other hand I haven't found any ID plates that show "Me 109". Only Bf, BF or just 109.
  15. Me neither, but I don't want to bother people who need it on their servers with this wish.
  16. Let me add this to the confusion;
  17. as title says. I would consider it very useful to be able to toggle cockpit tooltips on/off while in the plane. (Of course, they should stay allowed/restricted by multiplayer server hosts.)
  18. Although I've always been in the Bf-corner of the ring, I found an interesting PDF with information from Switzerland that it wasn't that easy to say Bf or Me is right: https://www.b17museum.ch/newspdf/63.pdf (I'm sorry that I haven't got the time to translate it into English for it's not copy and paste.) It shows that "Me 109"s were sold to Switzerland. edit: seems worth to be mentioned: the documents are from "Messerschmitt A.G., Augsburg" and show the date "Oktober 1938"
