The Su-25UTG would give us Russian naval all weather strike (SEAD) capability. Multicrew would be awesome as well. With the Syria map coming, a little love towards the Russian birds might be in order. Or maybe they could just give us a tailhook on the one we have.....

The Eagles Nest server can be used a training server or for cooperative missions. The scenarios running on the server are designed with a storyline in mind. Land, sea, and air forces combine efforts to complete an objective. SRS for voice DATIS for voice ATIS through SRS LotATC for anyone who would like to work as AWACS or air traffic controller Briefing packages available on the Discord (see below)

In multiplayer on the Persian Gulf map, Su-33 aircraft based on the Kutznetsov have no ENR mode and no nav waypoints. RTN and Landing modes work as designed. Land based Su-33 aircraft have ENR mode and all waypoints. The land based aircraft in my mission are a copy and paste of the CV based ones. Also, I ALWAYS get the "Your flight is delayed to start" message when selecting an SU-33 on the Kutznetsov for the first time. I thought this one was fixed a long time ago. You would think that DCS World would have decent Russian birds by now. Seriously the MiG29, Su25 and Su-27 family need addressing. The FC3 birds were done right. How about fixing them? I simply cannot understand why we don't have outstanding versions of these aircraft already. Are there no third parties interested in making better versions of these aircraft? I can offer 3d modeling and programming skills. But unfortunately I have very little technical information on these birds.

I learned to fly planes in the 1980's and all we had were steam gauges. We had none of this I-Pad GPS stuff and we didn't need it either. I feel right at home in that cockpit. The SU-25 and the Su-25T are two of my favorite planes in DCS. They truly deserve the full module treatment. I like the Su-25T for night and bad weather flights. The Su-25 is more suited to fair weather stuff. But I love them both. Can't wait for the Syria map.

Eagles Nest now has ATIS broadcasting through SRS. More information and specifics available through in-game briefing and Discord

I am very excited about the news today. Good work ED!

Moderator: please move this to the appropriate category. Problem: The Al Minhad TACAN (99X MIN) appears to follow the FA-18C around the field. Approaching from the East toward RWY 27, all appears to be fine. But when returning from Tunb Island, the HSI shows the TACAN to be out in the Gulf! As you approach the field, the TACAN slowly moves back to where it should be. This occurs both in big multiplayer scenarios and in single player. The attached track is a single player, single aircraft test mission. In the images below, the waypoint is where the TACAN should be. Hope this helps MIN_100120.trk

Eagles Nest is now running a Persian Gulf scenario, Operation Secure Passage. Fly for either side. PvE and PvE, custom dynamic weather, tankers and AWACS for 48+ hours facilitating night ops. More detailed briefing packages on the Discord.

I was having the same issue on my big Caucasus scenario. It has been a reliable and proven scenario for multiplayer. But since the last update, JSOWs have been nerfed. I switched to my NTTR scenario today and JSOWs are working as advertised. I suppose the Caucasus mission got hosed with the update. Hope this helps someone.
-
Zhukov....this is what NERF means EDIT....I found my problem. Apparently the last update hosed my big Caucasus mission. In this mission the JSOW is apparently ineffective. I loaded up another scenario I built on the NTTR map and JSOWs work as advertised.
-
Warfare is never balanced. Period. that being said, my JSOWs appear to be nerfed....at least the C models. The A's do explode and kill things like radar units. But they don't appear to damage parked aircraft. I even had a JSC hit an aircraft on a taxiway and no damage to the target either. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Edit...by the way, what does "OP" stand for and why do folks insist on two letter abbreviations?

Eagles nest is up and operating the latest SRS (auto launch and connect) and the latest TACVIEW on the server side. You can disable TACVIEW on your own machine. I will send a link to any pilots in discord where you can access your ACMI files on the server. Current scenario is in the Caucasus with Russia and NATO working together to thwart an attack from the South. It runs 48 hours and has fleets, air refueling, and many targets. Fly for RED or BLUE. JF-17 included on the RED side. Many briefing documents are available. However, I suggest that pilots check the F-10 map BEFORE selecting a position in order to get a good overview of the situation. In-cockpit F-10 maps is "fog-of-war". Good luck gentlemen. More scenarios will be coming. Eagles Nest is back.

The Eagles Nest server is back online with Operation Joint Resolve. Voice comms are Discord until the in-game voice becomes available. TACVIEW is integrated on the server side with no need for the user to record ACMI data. The server will record ACMI files automatically and store those files in a unique folder for each user. Interested users may contact me on Discord to get a link to their ACMI folder.

The discord is back up https://discord.gg/38fvxZ7 Server will be back online in a few days hopefully if all goes well. Zeagle

The event when a flight (such as a tanker) is RTB would be great. Also, fix the land/refuel/rearm thing so that AI can land and actually refuel/ rearm then takeoff again. Basically the ability to create a loop so that unless destroyed, a flight will fly, land, refuel-rearm, takeoff, fly etc.)
-
probably but I didn't see it listed in Nineline's post of known issues.
-
I can create a new waypoint from within the cockpit. The data appears to be entered on the DED. I can cycle the waypoints and the DED shows it. However, the new waypoint does not appear on the MFCD with the original waypoints from the Mission Editor. I cannot navigate to the new waypoint.
-
I don't need to trim the F-16 with my setup. Maybe some people are getting an offset due their controller. And that link posted by mvsgas had nothing to do with the question.
-
In my scenario we start cold and dark. It is on Caucasus.
-
Can someone clue me in to the proper AR sequence on the F-16? Every time I hook up to the tanker I immediately get the "refueling complete" message. I have tried with and without drop tanks. Refuel door is open. I must be missing something.
-
They called it "Viper" after the Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper. It wasn't named after a snake (ref the thumbnail in DCS) Waggs keep up the good work
-
OP...you never powered out or rolled the bird.

MAGVAR is already there. Skyvector doesn't qualify as a reliable source in my opinion for that area or any area. Get your charts from the govt. agencies that make them.
