  1. The glideslope if way off. Azimuth works, but glideslope does not.
  2. Dude a full module Su-25 would be a hit
  3. While we're wishing....How about the Su-25 UTG?
  4. You don't need a German speaking coder to do the project. There are more than enough reference materials available on the Stuka already translated into English. A great reference is the Eddie J. Creek and Richard J. Smith collection. Also, simply writing a letter to the Smithsonian will often get you much more info than you thought. I am sure that even in Germany you can find valuable information in English as well.
  5. One of the things that attracts me to the F-14 is the fact that it DOESN"T have a glass cockpit.
  6. @Golf2 Right click on Caucasus, select Build Path, then select "Use as Source Folder" Make sure your project properties require Moose Framework Good luck
  7. You have a bottleneck with the motherboard. The processor would probably be OK for medium settings as would the graphics card. My suggestion is to get a modern motherboard. Then upgrade components as your budget allows. Note: if you plan on upgrading, consider that AMD processors have been outperforming Intel for gaming lately. You might want to check some youtube comparisons for more information. As for 4k, your processor, memory and GPU are not up to that task. They are suited for at best 1080P on the current build. As for stuttering in DCS, get rid of the hard drive and slow SATA SSD's. NvMe is the way to go. Much faster with no stutters.
  8. I think you are rolling out too far in the groove....the new LSO will probably let you know that..lol
  9. I can see the ball fine. If you can't see the ball, maybe you are rolling out too far out from the boat. At 1 mile it is totally visible. I hope we at least have a choice to turn the overlay off
  10. By the end of the war they had pretty sophisticated nav capabilities. But all you need is a radio direction finder, a compass (or the stars), and some math. dead reckoning is pretty accurate if done correctly. I trained in aircraft before GPS was a thing. I didn't get lost. As far as playing period broadcasts over radio stations goes, this is all possible through the mission editor already as far as I can tell. You just need some sound files and a little coding
  11. I highly suggest the series by Eddie J creek and J. Richard Smith on the 262 as well as the series on the 190. Explains many things.
  12. Thanks Naquii….the Tomcat is my favorite bird. Outstanding job!!!! I bought it on pre-order but couldn't fly it until I upgraded my rig. So I'm about a year behind. RustBelt...dude come on...lol
  13. 1978...I saw my very first F-14 in 1978 at NAS Meridian
  14. How about a way to incorporate Jepp charts or maybe something like Navigraph data into DCS? For mission planners we could select SIDs, STARs, and approaches as well as real world waypoints for missions. Just a thought. Also the in-game ATC needs to be scrapped. I am a retired ATC. So if you need help with that let me know.
  15. Very well done. In your Raven One teaser, the air traffic controller says "turn heading". It should be "fly heading". Have a nice day
  16. I have hold and a perpetual loop with a convoy. It works. The convoy activates at a dock, travels to the airport, waits 45 minutes or so, then travels back to the dock, waits...etc etc. Here is the mission file. I don't know if this is exactly what you are talking about. But I got the hold function to work. The key to un-holding is the stop condition. As far as the tanks moving at the start...who knows? I encountered several bugs with artillery units a while back. But that's the beta... Operation_Secure_Passage_day-1.miz
  17. Do I have something configured wrong or are we missing the bomb racks?
  18. worked for me! I was getting this a lot before unchecking "full screen". GTX1080i

    dead zone

Thanks Wraith. I am trying to do this stuff without Mist or Moose. I am sure there is a way or soon will be a way. But if I have to I will bite the bullet and use one of those script libraries.
  20. Trying to select a building and designate it as target for an air-to-mud mission. I right click and designate as a new trigger zone. Then I set a trigger if the zone is a "dead zone". However, I do not think the dead zone thing is working. Has anyone got it to work yet? EDIT I really don't know if this is a correct usage of "dead zone". I am just trying to figure out how to tell if a pre-existing structure is dead.
  21. I found "Chester" today...lol
  22. The units are a simplified way to present critical information to the pilot. It's a lot easier to read something like 15 units on the analog gauge than to try and read (for argument's sake) 25.21 degrees. Its a simplified scale.
  23. I'll fly CAS for you dragon. Give me a few days to get my server online. I am standing my group back up. They are air-to-mud fliers. I expect to be ready in a week or so. https://discord.gg/vn9jD42 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCG7jDqQ2mMhNF09cW7xjmuA
  24. Which plane are you using Bbow? Make sure you have the correct radio selected. Also make sure you are on AM not FM. IRL they used UHF because it was safer than VHF (line of sight mostly and shorter range...you don't want the bad guys listening). VHF though has been and is now used quite a lot for ATC situations. In this day of datalink and encryption, the reason for choosing between UHF and VHF is mostly one of convenience or necessity if the other party doesn't have UHF.
  25. I excluded DCS folders from Windows Defender antivirus and noticed a significantly better experience on the Persian Gulf map flying the Tomcat.
