  1. There are also a few great free user campaigns that I’ve enjoyed. And the training missions are very extensive and in depth. Lots to do in the Harrier.
  2. I experienced this until I realized I did not have the supercarrier module installed in the module manager. Once that was fixed it works fine.
  3. I have the Thrustmaster Hornet stick and while the weapon hat does move left, it's pretty awkward to do, and I don't map that direction on hardly any aircraft I fly because of it.
  4. I would also say the ergonomics works better for a center stick low mounted between the legs rather than up on a desk.
  5. I like mine, but it’s pricey, try to get it used or something.
  6. +1 I would appreciate this binding too
  7. Never had the urge to use stable after I switched to beta. Both versions have bugs, but beta gets the fixes earlier and the new toys.
  8. Nothing at this time. The Supercarrier is the first time ground crew have been modeled to interact with aircraft automatically. But in the mission editor it’s possible to add infantry or taxiing airplanes or cars moving around, but you have to do so yourself.
  9. Bug since last week. I believe it should be the az/el page that opens automatically rather than stores or flir, but az /el Isn’t implemented yet so who knows how this bug happened.
  10. Air to air mode is not yet implemented.
  11. I would also love to see more of these kinds of animations. Startup for example feels rather sterile without ground crew.
  12. I’ve heard atc works with half flaps but never tried it. But considering you shouldn’t be landing with half flaps anyway it seems pointless to practice like that.
  13. Make sure not to laze the entire time but only the last 15 seconds or so. Otherwise the bomb will waste energy trying to correct itself too early and fall short.
  14. Yes and yes.
  15. If you want access to the Supercarrier anytime soon I would install beta.
  16. Just completed this campaign and had a blast. Thanks for the great experience! Anyone tried to play through it with 2 or 0 phoenixes rather than the standard 4 Phoenix loadout? Would be harder but more realistic.
  17. Right now it’s as close as you can get in DCS but sadly the Black Shark isn’t really an Apache equivalent, being single seat and heavily automated, as well as having some limitations regarding the shkval and hmd compared to the Apache. But it’s still a great aircraft to fly.
  18. The lighting in the cockpit would have to be adapted for nvg use as well, probably not the easiest task for a mod and not something I want from HB if it’s not realistic. The alternative is to take lysbombs.
  19. In the sim the answer is no. In real life I don’t think it’s possible but could be wrong.
  20. Jester lantirn functionality is Coming but I don’t think there has been any change since launch yet.
  21. ED is always careful to say they do not make promises, only report current expectations and forecasts of release progress.
  22. You’re not missing anything. Lighting brightness settings are somehow not yet implemented for a night attack jet.
  23. In landing config, the flight control system tries to maintain the trimmed angle of attack. When you trim, you are setting the angle of attack for the computer to hold. Thus increasing throttle increases speed, which decreases angle of attack, So the computer compensates by pitching up slightly to maintain the angle of attack you set by trimming. Thus it pitches up and increases altitude. Same when you decrease throttle, it increases angle of attack causing the computer to pitch down to compensate, causing you to reduce altitude.
  24. Would love to know what throttle people have where they’re running out of hat switches. I have a relatively cheap TWCS throttle and after binding the real hornet throttle functions including antenna elevation I still have unmapped hat buttons.
