Try to run a repair first. Do you have mods installed?
-
Exactly. Here you can find an overview of the 20 UHF presets: Yes, the presets will be updated as soon as you change them via UFC/DED. You can view and edit every single UHF and VHF frequency preset via UFC/DED: Enter the COM1 (UHF) or COM2 (VHF) DED page Select the desired preset by pressing the DED ICP increment/decrement switch the frequency assigned to the selected preset is displayed in the DED in the lower left area, below PRE # I've attached a simple F-16C mission. The UHF presets are populated from 301 to 320 MHz and the VHF presets from 121 to 140 MHz, so you can test the above described procedures easily: F-16C RadioPresetTest.miz

SUGGESTIONS ON DCS SYSTEM/GRAPHICS SETTINGS
AstonMartinDBS replied to Phreedom's topic in General Tutorials
Since you have a much more powerful system than me you can start using this settings and try to increase them step by step to find your limits: If you observe micro stutters try this: deactivate VSync in the DCS options and set "Vertical Synchronisation" in the nVidia Control panel to "Fast" ("Schnell" is german and means "fast"): -

I've seen the same behaviour on some AI controlled F-16A MLUs in the F-16C single mission "Overwhelming Force" using current OB 2.7.9.18080, so the issue is still present and obviously not exclusively related to the F-15E. The screenshots have been taken at mission time of about 53 mins. I've checked TacView and the release of the JSOWs should have happen at around minute 19. Trackfile is too large to upload.

Best wishes for 2022 @Mrgone and a lot of fun with DCS!

That's strange... I did some further testing (OB 2.7.9.18080): Setup TOT to WP5 for examle (TGT -> 5 -> ENT -> [5] in the SEQUFC will get boxed; TOT -> hhmmss -> ENT); This activates the TOT indication in the HUD and HSI and the [5] in the SEQUFC is still boxed. To deactivate the TOT indications either set TGT to WP0 or unbox SEQ1. The TOT indications are deactivated, even if you return to SEQ1 and rebox it. Unboxing SEQ1 works as long as you don't unbox the TGT WP in the SEQUFC (to unbox simply return to the HSI/DATA/SEQUFC/TGT -> 5 -> ENT -> 5 in the SEQUFC is unboxed now). Unboxing SEQ1 while no TGT WP in the SEQUFC is boxed keeps the TOT indications remaining.

You can deactivate certain threat classes (CLASS 1 - CLASS 11) to increase the scan/update rate of the HTS. Here you can download a printable and kneeboard version of an overview of all codes and correct table mapping: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/245497-alic-tables-for-the-agm-88c-harm-pdf-and-kneeboard (data source = directly from ED) The table shown in the Grim Reapers video is incorrect. The table mapping was obviously just a guessing.
-
ED really promised a kneeboard with such codes and tables?
-
I've updated my threat tables right now. You can download them here: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/245497-alic-tables-for-the-agm-88c-harm-pdf-and-kneeboard/ Big thanks @BIGNEWY for providing the required data!

ALIC Tables for the AGM-88C HARM (.pdf and Kneeboard)
AstonMartinDBS replied to AstonMartinDBS's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
v3.0.0 released: added threat tables for the HARM HAD page; removed the paper background kneeboard version and added a night version with black background instead -
I've checked the procedures and both methods worked as I posted the hints above. Method 2 (unboxing SEQ1) should work as well.

I don’t know why can’t I press cage button to recenter my agm65f
AstonMartinDBS replied to MivwTaupos's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Upload a short trackfile and you'll get help. Otherwise nobody knows what you're doing wrong. -
Maybe we can get access to official information from the developers @BIGNEWY or @NineLine, that we can build our own tables and provide them here or in the DCS user files section?
-
Thank you @schurem, but is it correct that table 6 contains six threats, while all other have a maximum of five? Does anyone have an official source for those tables? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1p77yaLQJaUMbAIKJDKX5iMN5N5qm_Qqt_dJNyJjLQtw/edit#gid=0 is still limited to the first three tables. I'm about to update my HARM threat code tables (kneeboard and printable versions), but need a serious data source.

Method 1: Simply set TGT via HSI/SEQUFC to any WP which is lower than your currently selected WP. Example: Currently selected WP = 3, disable TOT by setting TGT to WP 0, 1 or 2. Method 2: Unbox SEQ1 in the HSI format page and reselect & rebox it if you wish.

The Al Minad ATC frequency should be 118,55 in the briefing (incl. picture 6/6) and preset VHF1 instead of 121,80.

All those restrictions doesn't make any sense for me. Why do the HOME selection arrows disappear under certain conditions?
-
Thanks for sharing your test mission! I've edited it to simulate IFR conditions (time/weather/fog). Edit: ILS works well in this mission. SY UH-1H ILS Approach Paphos.miz

I'm afraid that ED ignores this thread because it already has been marked as "cannot reproduce".
