I have had the same issue, especially after "trapping". I think it's down to not using the correct communications throughout the recovery onto the boat. I have tried using the "request launch" and go Mil Power, and then use the "salute" in the comms menu, and the same thing, nothing.. tried full afterburner, no joy. I think Jester needs to switch frequencies to request "take off" It's the only thing I can think of that's stopping the launch ?

The excitement is killing me, after the shit way this year has gone for me personally , and how much covid 19 has decimated millions of peoples live, this map might be the highlight of their year!!

There's so many RN ships I'd love to see in the game, I think Razbam are only making a Type21/23 Frigate, and a Patrol ship, Castle class, HMS Leeds Castle I'm sure was mentioned. I'd love to see the older Leander class frigates, as well the Type 42'a One can only dream LOL

I was a bit concerned that the recently announced upgrade to the A10C by ED might have put the Kybosh on this, but chuffed to see progress is still ongoing.

So I ran the updater last night before I went to bed,and woke up to find this error: 00351.441 STATUS: Got RETRY when asked to retry: Can't delete F:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin/ed_sound.dll To top it off, I can't repair either, as it also now says the dcs.exe is missing as the update failed due to the above error. Please help EDIT: Fixed it by simply renaming the file, and once that was done, the updater finished and game launched.

I spent 2 years based in Episkopi, back in 82-84, Cyprus would be a great addition, I recall the U2 flying out of RAF Akrotiri daily as well.

HTTP is no use when you're on limited bandwidth, and if the connection breaks, the downloads have to start from scratch all over again, I lost 7GB worth of a download, that already took 12 hours. At least with torrents they resumed where they left off, please re enable torrenting after such huge updates.

Awesome.. no more updates for me then till I get back home to Thailand , as currently stuck in Iraq due to covid, and my IT will have a fit as I had managed to get the 7GB, then 5 GB over the weekend on the net, and now every time it loses the connection, any download resets to zero. May as well shelve DCS for a few months then, not what I was wanting to hear, regarding torrents.

What would cause the app to only use http FTP downloads? I have been trying to update to the lastest version, and it's not using torrents at all, and I'm losing all the data every time I lose the internet, which is 4-5 times a day.. I just lost 5 GB of data due to the connection dropping, and yesterday I lost 7 GB, almost a whole download worth.

I'm getting the same, and says something about Arleigh Burke textures not loading. All other F18 missions loading. First time trying out the SC, and so far it's crashed every time.. same DX11 error message. I also did 2 repairs and cleanups

I will check, dumb bombs come off without any issues, IIRC before 2.6, could never lock/launch Sea Eagles or the Alarms before.

Did multiple clean ups, and repairs and 2-3 reboots, and deleted all the old VSN Tornado stuff, and re -installed, seems to be back up and running again. DCS in a nutshell lol

Uninstalling DCS right now is not an option right now, as I'm overseas and I have over 140 GB of modules etc. It's weird, as I ran a repair, but still can't get the BOZ/Skyshadows/Fuel pods to show, I've deleted and reinstalled the VSN Tornado twic now, I must be over looking something..It's not a massive issue though.
